Guinevere Van Seenus Does Vogue Netherlands June 2012

As the new Vogue Netherland releases its third cover ever (June 2012), the general opinion of the highly esteemed fash population is that, although pretty and lovable, it looks like Vogue Paris.

However, if we just step back and look at the ensemble, everything would be so much clearer: Vogue Netherlands‘ first issue ever was an all white backdrop and three gorgeous Dutch models. Vogue Netherland’s second issue was an up close portrait of Lara Stone, again, against an all white background. Now it’s Guinevere Van Seenus, looking all sorts of lovely and summery, white background and all, but it feels like Vogue Paris? Oh, come on? Seriously?

I love it. As you said Kpriss it’s lovely and summery. As for the orange lettering in that nice soft orange our national colour I think it’s a bit of a patriotic wink to our athletes during sport month June. The EC Football (Soccer) Championship and the Olympics. Well, it’s my interpretation. The Orange Fever has began you see….;) :)

I do not think Dutch Vogue is anything like Paris Vogue.
I agree with Riana, and it is such a lovely and summery magazine cover. I look forward to seeing the covers as they are such a breath of fresh air in the fashion magazine world. : )

They can keep June Vogue Paris aka GQ Paris. Why should I love it to look at Gisele’s behind? At least this cover is great for girls and women of all ages. Well done girls keep going on like this!! :)

I totally agree! They should keep up with the good (hard) work! We’re enjoying the results, and I think we’re not the only ones! ;)

I think Carine was trying to be edgy, Alt – like so they went with a risky cover, fully knowing that Gisele is certified gold anyway.
