Now that’s an interesting pictorial from Vogue US May 2012 – the same issue with a Scarlett Johansson on the cover. This is one of those inside goodies, always welcome surprises offered by Grace Coddington’s stylist eye. Honestly, I feel like a fashion wee one holding the chocolate egg whenever I have a Vogue US in my hands! I’m almost tearing through the wrapping to get to the good stuff!
And, each and every time, the chocolate inside is way better than the pretty wrapping. But that’s a good thing, right? If the big game was the cover, then who’d look inside the magazine? But enough with the talk, here’s what I found inside Vogue this month: Natalia Vodianova and Michael Fassbender in a session with Craig McDean (styled by Grace Coddington, as I already mentioned) with hair by Julien D’Ys and Make up by Stephane Marais. (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)
There’s a movie behind almost every picture. There’s strict urban feeling and cold, distant, theatrical love stories around every paper corner. Natalia’s hair is lovely, though. Very un – fussy and frizzy, it’s one of those hairdo-s to remember and reproduce in the intimacy of our own beauty rooms.
Also – please notice the black leather boots – aren’t they dreamy? It’s the next big thing for fall, I’m certain! Designed by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, the black beauties can also be found in other colors in the Fall 2012 collection of the maison, but the ones Natalia is wearing are the ones I’d love to have in my wardrobe! Wouldn’t you?

This is a great editorial to me – Natalia is a true supermodel & deserves the cover as well – IMHO.
This is fashion to me – it represents the fabulous dream that I miss so much from magazines these days. And I am a suburban mum with four kids, dog & the rest – the target demographic that Anna is always talking about?
This is okay I think. I am not in love with it but it is much nicer to see than most of the fashion editorials of late.
I do like Michael Fassbender and Nataila Vodianova looks good.
I would not see the “movie’ behind each of these photos Kpriss, but I think that they would make for some interesting commercials. : )
This is indeed very nice too look at. Grace is still the best.
I fail to see the movies behind the photos though?? And please, not too often Michael Fassbender; I don’t want an overdose too soon :)
