It actually came as a surprise to me and it may be just the same for you, to hear who came first in fashion loving people’s denim preferences: Levi’s. In spite of every marketing effort, every celebrity advocating for any other jeans brand out there, Levi’s still has it all for itself. Fashionistas prefer the classics. Second, in the most-popular brands top five came Michael Kors, then Ralph Lauren on third, Tommy Hilfiger came forth followed by Carolina Herrera.
All the above happens in the U.S. while Europe’s fashionistas prefer Louis Vuitton (in Paris, biensur), Gucci in Italy and, surprisingly, Mulberry in the U.K.. The study was conducted on one of the most known online street style community, Chicismo. Thoughts?

Levi’s was my first pair jeans, spijkerbroek in Dutch, it will also be my last. The brand is the real deal.
I consider the other brands made for fashionistas or label fans.

ah, yes, Ellington, I almost forgot the Gap! My favorite pair of jeans ever came from the Gap! Other than that, I’m all Levi’s. I should give 7 a try, huh?
