Although I always had a playful perception of Moschino, I think this ad campaign is a little odd for an official fashion campaign. Kasia Struss posing fashionably in Rome for Moschino Spring Summer 2012 feels more like an invitation to visit Rome, more than anything (the campaign breaks under the “Viva l’Italia” slogan, so it’s not so surprising after all).
Of course the image is absolutely flawless in composition, color and interpretation (given the overall theme). I just wish they’d do it more fashionably and with more subtlety than they did (notice the legendary red Fiat 500 in the background). I guess I should be thankful the campaign doesn’t present Kasia copiously eating pasta?

Yes it does look like a postcard promoting Rome.
More perplexing to me is how Kasia Struss has lost so much weight this past year. I saw pictures of her backstage at runways & one could literally see her ribcage. Pasta she’s certainly not eating.
