I sometimes can’t believe that I’m actually taking into consideration Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. collection for the New York Fashion Week. Never mind me – I still think it’s a bit too much to look at Gwen Stefani’s label as we do at Prabal Gurung (just to pick an example). They’re presented in the same venue, after all, so why shouldn’t we place them in the same category? Then again… why should we?
Because they’re wearable. Because LAMB targets the average fashion consumer who wouldn’t mind dressing in H & M on the Red Carpet, but doesn’t do H&M because it’s too cheap. So they go for a more expensive brand, with all the same popular designs. There’s hardly something exclusive and trademark-ish in Gwen Stefani’s LAMB line. Or am I missing something here?
