Are Knee High Socks Still Fashionable For Fall?

I recently came across a very legit fashion dilemma: knee high men like socks. For women. Paired with pencil skirts, knee length also – hot or flop?

A very fall – ready pictorial from W Magazine, the August 2011 issue (featuring the gorgeous Karen Elson and photographed by Emma Summerton as styled by Edward Enninful) suggests that the infamous masculine knee high socks would be a must have this fall. And don’t even think about pairing them with military boots, oh, no, honey! They’re the perfectly trendy, stylish and truly fashionable accessory when worn with high heeled shoes or sandals and terribly elegant skirt suits. Now I know where I stand – I’m favorable to wearing those knee high socks, only I would pair them with frilly skirts, jeans shorts or bohemian flowery, mini dresses.
