If you’ve experienced the magic of a (at least one) pregnancy, then you will most probably think that caftans are the utterly undeniable proof that fashion loves mothers. And even if you don’t know yet what must feel like to be blessed with the graciousness of a whale for at least 4 months every two years or so, but you treasure comfort and loose, relaxed style, caftans are what you need in your wardrobe!
Yeah, so what if they look like bed sheets you put your head through? your comfort is more important than that! And boy, are those caftans dreamy comfortable! I came across a piece pledging in favor of the caftan these days so that’s how I came up with the idea of talking about them myself. The said piece was inviting us to discover Two New York‘ creations, which, even if they can come across as a bit too expensive ($260 for a caftan) look simply divine! I’m absolutely in love with the teal / golden one as well as I adore the white ones with golden detailing! However – I took the liberty of perusing the fashalleys of the internet only to discover more caftans for your eyes only!
Think warm, sandy beaches! think relaxed evenings! Think backyard parties! Think a nonfussy walk in the park with the kids! Think a relaxed day in the kitchen preparing everyone’s favorite cake! Caftan can do that for you! and so much more! Are you a caftan fan already? (via 1, 2, 3, 4)

Some of them are ever so pretty, but the trick is not too look frumpy in them and sometimes that is a hard pull. :)
it’s a fair point as most of them are made to cover up. But then again, cinched with a belt it’s an entirely different story. I still love a body hugging dress, especially those jersey maxi dresses that are so treasured right now?
