Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2011, Lindsey Wixson And The Butterflies

Though this is not officially an Alexander McQueen ad campaign and it will only be used for promotional purposes in the stores and on the website, I had to talk about it. Because I’m loving it. In a strange kind of way.

It’s not Lindsey Wixson‘s face (which I’m not particularly fond of, in any case), it’s not even the dress (although it’s very couture – ish without being too princess – ish). Not even the butterflies (even if they’re heavenly). It’s a mix of all three. A strange dream – like situation deeper than the paper size of the print. How do you feel this non – campaign for the Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2011 collection?
