Lady Gaga And Nick Knight’s The Left Eye

Remember we talked about this series of short puzzle movies meant to put together visions of the Fashion Body? And remember I told you there was going to be one particular short movie signed by Lady Gaga herself?

I promise, the day I’ll get the nouveau way of doing and representing art, I’ll be an accomplished spirit! Artistically speaking, at least! Because this “Left Eye” art by Gaga and Nick Knight looks so… not art at all! Come, come, take a look, tell me what you think! I give you my word. It’s a short one! (via)

I have to ask this is all sincerity, if Lady Gaga did not do the theatrics and wear her outfits, do you think that she would sell as many cds and would people come to see her?
What if she sang the same songs but dressed like say Celine Dion or Taylor Swift, would everyone and their dog still laud her?
To be honest I find her songs rather forgettable, and I only remember the visual of her.
Like a singing Leigh Bowery.

I was wondering exactly the same…
why singing is not enough anymore?? why do I have to see her underwear?? is that edgy?? madonna did it 20 years ago!!! its not new anymore…
She has a great voice and she is very talented but for how long can she keep going out like a freak??
and why wasnt she a “freak” before being famous?? u see her old pics and she looks a very next door type of girl…
its a shame we live in such kind of society where talent itself means nothing…

it’s theatre people. it’s all about the theatre. would we be satisfied with a series of soliloquies or would we want to see something different sometimes? I love her and everything about her. she can back up all the theatrics with real, true talent.
