Visionaire. Lee Alexander McQueen

This tribute imagined by Visionaire to honor Alexander McQueen’s creativity and talent is so appropriate and artsy, I can’t help but dreaming at it with my eyes wide open.

Especially when I see that beautiful, couture-ish cover, I can only suspect they’ve put some magical things inside. It actually was a project McQueen had talked about with the Visionaire people. Sadly, it never came to reality. It never got the time to. Now this tribute is a collection of visions from Steven Klein, Nick Knight, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Inez and Vinoodh, Mario Sorrenti and more.

Visionaire 58 Spirit Lee Alexander McQueen

This 58th issue is available in a couture edition (made in collaboration with the McQueen label), besides the 1,500 copies on a special paper. What’s the cost of such beautiful artsyness? $295. It’s quite an acquisition, what say you? (via)

Kpriss, what did you do to me? I need a new laptop….plus I want to pamper myself and this is something wonderful to comfort myself with…….beautiful video by the way.
Decisions, decisions……

I wasted my time, it’s a wasted day anyway, to make the decision this would be mine. But alas, Visionaire 58 will be sold exclusively in Alexander McQueen boutiques (London, Milan, New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas), Visionaire and at Colette Paris.

=))

It is a beautiful book and a lovely looking tribute.
Alexander McQueen was very talented.
He will be missed.
Adriana get a Mac! :)

Kpriss do you own a Mac too? Argh, my IT-nerd is anti Mac….so he’s not really willingly to help me out….to be honest the last three years with Vista were misery. I don’t get that Microsoft isn’t punished for this! As it seems the last iPhone is Apple’s Vista? I know very off-topic. Sorry.

I’m still very, very disappointed us lesser mortals have not the change to spend our savings on this tribute. That would have been the only McQueen thing I will ever own and can afford. =((
Well, all that’s left for me is to add the beautiful video to my faves on YouTube.

Doesn’t Colette sells online? (and then there’s eBay? even Visionaire has a sales service you can check – I included the link towards their website in the article – on the price, I think..)

Nop, have no Mac (yet), I’m still on my faithful hp which serves me greatly even after all these years -(no Vista, though ;) I love my laptop, wouldn’t treat it so mean :P ). Santa has my Mac-filled letter and he knows it ;)

Oh, I doubt it’s as bad as that – the new iPhone. Any revolutionary product has its flaws, I’m sure. I’ve heard so many bad things about the other smart phones, it makes me wonder who’s really unsatisfied – the end customer or the competition? There’s one thing the world has to agree upon: the iPhone has changed the way we see/use a mobile phone. Is there any mobile phones brand out there that isn’t trying to work an iPhone of their own? case closed.

Good morning Kpriss! While I’m sipping some afternoon tea. :)
Online? I’ve no credit card. And I don’t want to have one either. I know it’s handy. I can’t shop online on Amazon.com either. Sometimes a friend helps me out with his card. Let’s google to some find info then?

I googled Colette. This is not yet available online. It said: soon. There’s also a normal edition available. No prices mentioned. But who wants the ‘normal edition’? Sniff…
