Proenza Schouler PS1 Leather Bag

Much could be said about Proenza Schouler’s PS1 bag. I’ll just start with : it’s my current bag obsession and I’d wear it to pieces if I’d ever have the honor to welcome it in my closet!

From the PS1 Pochette (small sized PS 1 bag) to PS1 Medium, PS1 large and PS1 Extra large, I’d have the extra large (as you know I’m a tote person) but I wouldn’t mind a mini PS1 (so please consider making one for the next season, maybe I’ll get lucky, even though a leather PS1 pochette only costs around $900. For every size, there’s a normal version and at least a luxury version: there’s the python for the medium sized PS1 and the pochette, the python and crocodile for the medium and the large size and the python for the extra large. While the extra large in python will only take you as far as $5,250, the crocodile large PS1 will take as much as $14,500 out of your pocket.

The best part about the PS1 bag (besides the looks, of course) is the colors palette! You can have your bag in black, white, brown, blue, yellow, smoke, light blue, light beige. The bag in itself is a flat front bag with metal tab closure. All straps (including the handle and the removable/adjustable shoulder strap – which is my favorite given I’m all for cross body bags) are made of leather, just like the bag. There’s a leather trimmed inner pocket (and an outer zip pocket) and the interior lining is jacquard (custom). How do you like the PS 1 bag from Proenza Schouler?
