This year, two visual events were highly ranked in my memory (and in the world’s vision as well): James Cameron’s Avatar and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. And even though I was respectfully in awe for the Pandora people, I feel most impressed by Alice.
Many arguments could flow for both camps, the truth is still a matter of subjectivity and personal opinion. However, if we’re to watch and draw conclusions, Tim Burton’s Alice was the one sure grasp over the fashion (and more) world’s imagination. Christian Louboutin’s Fall Winter 2010 collection is now officially campaigned with the courtesy of Khuong Nguyen under the title “Winter Tales”. Many wonderful things have been done in the past too, but this is so special and heartwarming I can’t let go. Mixing Alice visuals with elements from Cinderella, The Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid and so much more is pretty fantastic and fashion inviting. Wouldn’t you agree? (Khuong Nguyen via TL)

Yes this is a beautiful ad campaign! Fairy tales and shoes go hand and hand. Seeing them in this context makes them look even more magical and more art like. :)
Hum… Beautiful shoes. Poor ads.
Cool and very Dali-esque no doubt inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice/ Lady Gaga, I’m not sure LOL :-)
I love fairy tales and everything involves with fairy tales. So these are great.
Bella, bella Cinderella. :)
