Pete Wentz is a fashion designer. Everybody is a fashion designer nowadays. However, it seems Pete’s Clandestine Industries collection presentation was pretty spectacular. At least the end of it!
Pete Wenz was carried out by some of his male models and showed to the audience as a straight jacketed, masked fellow. A Hannibal Lecter of his own right, Pete Wenz tried to silence his inner fashion lamb. I wish he’d succeed, don’t you? (via)

My only wish was that the guys just keep on going off of the runway and down the street to the docks and simply pushed him into the river. :P
Celebrities turned into “fashion designers” make me get angry. “I always draw clothes” So what, either do I.
Design is a 4 year career and that makes me think I’m wasting my time.
@S. , I understand you when you say that you get angry but celebrities face fashion everyday and they learn (some), they do experience the technic and they are already in so it easier to stay in. I’m saying that because maybe you learned it from school but some learned by experiencing it every day.
I don’t know if you understand what I mean.
I do : )
Of course they learn it every day and there are different ways to learn, but do you think it’s enough? I understand why a model can become a fashion designer (they are in fashion) but a singer or an actor/actress? In my opinion, maybe I’m wrong, it’s not the same.
I wish these days I’d spent my money and time and very hard work to another craft and just made my own clothes as a hobby. Look at fashion today, everybody who has “a name” is a designer. I wouldn’t have fit in that world either I believe and I should have studied English or something. Far more useful. I could have worked at home as a translator now……:((
The actors have a name for themselves already and whatever they choose to do will often seem easier/breezier than for us ‘civilians’. These particular actors have chosen fashion design. A lot of other actors open bars and restaurants. They have the right to choose to design clothes – you can’t resent their choice just because they’re famous for something else.
Which would you rather be – talented and unknown or untalented and famous?
I realise Pete’s a singer but you know what I mean
Pete Wentz is actually a bass-player in ehhh, so called rock band ala the “00’s. If that band still exist. Anyway, the crisis shall divide to good from the bad ones.
Oh, Ellington…….:D…..I was so mad reading this that I didn’t notice you comment…..hahahahaha……ooohhh…..
R.S.r: I want to have a job in my craft but even that’s hard these days. Famous? No thank you. :P
