Harper’s Bazaar grand March 2010 issue brings something unexpected from Karl Lagerfeld. Though I should get used to the Kaiser’s love for self irony, I can’t wait for more surprising ways he’ll take everything in derision in the name of fashion.
Designer Double Take has Karl Lagerfeld signature all over, transforming Iris Strubegger in Donatella Versace, John Galliano, Carolina Herrera, Vivienne Westwood, his own Kaiser-ish self, Sonia Rykiel and Rei Kawakubo. I should also credit the makeup team for having pulled such a wonderful job, but congrats to Mr Lagerfeld for his vision are in order! Nice idea these photos but please, eat something girl…..or a bit more is fine too……
This is pretty nifty, it is a bit of fun taking on the designers. I wish he had done Vivienne Westwood!
Donnatella wishes she looked like that but I think that she thinks that is what she looks like to us.
As for the Kaiser image, it was well done but I imagine that the Kaiser makes everyone who works with him dress like that.

Re. the Kaiser’s personal fashion taste – I don’t know what’s scarier – the fact that he looks like a gothic ghost priest or the fact that he dresses like one EVERY SINGLE DAAAAAAAYYYYY….
