We haven’t had a love song for a while, have we? While this is the cheering season and the time for giving and joy, it’s also the time for love. Thus I thought of Luz Casal’s Piensa en mi (from Pedro Almodovar’s High Heels). And it goes for you know who!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you’re ready to start your most amazing week ever! May you be blessed with love every second of every day! (Try to look beyond the apparent sadness of the song and see the love within! Love makes us better in every way!) (I’ll update with more information soon)

Ahhh, so beautiful. Te amo. I adore Pedro Alodómovar. “Tacones Lejanos” with the wonderful Victoria Abril. Saw of late “jÁtame!” also with Victoria and young Antonio Banderas before Hollywood and he really acted….ahhh, since I’ve a “Aldomór revival” I’m so charmed by your choice Kpriss. :)
One thing though, maybe it sounds like criticism, it isn’t, I know we live in different cultures but the title of this film is “Tacones Lejanos”! You Americans should broad your horizon and use the real titles especially since so many Spanish speaking people live in your country!
Gracias mi amiga Kpriss. ;)
Awww! This song brings me back a lot of memories of my childhood, I always sang it realy loud in the car or in front of the TV( it was the song of an anti-varicose veins tights).
Lovely and charming!
Thanks for this Kpriss and a fabu weekend to you too! :)
Hugs flying your way, Adriana! I’m happy you liked it!
s. it was featured in an ad? is that it? (how on earth they managed to associate this song with anti -varicose veins tights? the commercial ways sometimes completely elude me!)
Thank you, Ellington! You ladies are such sweethearts! Hug you all!
