There’s something about Ellen DeGeneres that makes you instantly love her. And there’s something about Oprah that made millions viewers allover the world truly, madly, deeply adore her.
Also, there’s something about Ellen wanting to be on the cover of Oprah’s O magazine. Something she was trying so hard, for such a long time to do! And she finally got it! Ellen and Oprah do O, the Oprah Magazine cover, together! (so she didn’t really got it, after all, but that’s as far as Michelle Obama went, so I guess it’s okay with a shared cover as well!). (the story continues right after the jump)
Two different covers were made, both with Ellen and Oprah wearing white. The newsstands cover, however, has a special something to it, a joyful cheekiness and the Rey Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons Converse sneakers as playfully shown by Ellen. It’s also my favorite cover. Which one is your favorite? (via)
UPDATE: Two more covers were added on Oprah’s O Magazine website so I’m bringing those also. I still have my heart on the white Kawakubo cover, though…

I like both covers, but I do wonder why it was so important for Ellen to be on the cover of Oprah’s magazine? She really wanted it but I don’t think she said why.
Ellington, I guess Ellen wanted this because they are the two Queen Bees of US TV broadcasting?
I like the second one the best too. Both are fun covers. With two outstanding ladies both in their own league!
I think she wanted it long before Michelle Obama was on the cover so I guess it was because the only one covering Oprah’s O Magazine was solely Oprah… And Ellen loves good fun ;)
However, I’ll dig deeper see what I’ll come up with!
It’s still funny!
