From Catwalk to reality, this is what Alexander McQueen’s fashion extraordinary shoes look like as compared to regular shoes.
No, there’s no photoshop or cgi involved, this is how it is. Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2010 shoes Vs. current reality. I remember the days we used to have computer screens the size of these shoes! Oh well… (via)

I really do not like these shoes at all. I find them creepy like hooves or something. I do think think that they are interesting as art but to wear no! They look angry, oppressive and rather cruel to me.
I like add this to Ellington’s reply: is McQueen a misogynist?
Art? His collection was showed in the “ready-to-wear” fashion show weeks. I want to see him struggle and stumble on these “Japanese torture” shoes. Yuk!
OMG.. they are scary.. brrrrr..
theyre not torture devices its a shoe within a show its just an average shoe inside the reason they look liek hooves is because they put a sort of cover on the regular shoe to make it look sea monkey ish for the theme of the show foolz
They are awsome! i would wear them to a super market or just anywhere! They are artistic and in!
these shoes are awesome. I’m trying to get a cobbler to make on for me. i know how they are constructed. Monstrously amazing, i would kill for this.
I agree with the hoof comment. Interesting as a novelty… but the look like a cow foot. I really can’t think of a woman who wants her feet to look like cow feet.
Did we got today the answer why Alexander’s show looked like he was angry but probably sad?
I hope they won’t cancel his show, regardless!
love them!!! i wish i had them!
