Claudia Schiffer Vogue Paris Vs Harper’s Bazaar Vs Vogue Germany

Claudia Schiffer was pretty busy this fall season. Her Vogue Paris October 2009 pictorial, the funny, Halloween-ish photos from Harper’s Bazaar November 2009 UK edition and the strange, trench-y Vogue Germany November 2009 photos make Claudia a very fall-super-love.

The pictures I can relate to, fashion-wise, come from Vogue Paris October 2009. They’re a bit cliché-ish, I admit, but still aesthetically pleasing from a very stylish point of view. (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

The cartoon-ish, scary-ish Harper’s Bazaar November 2009 with Claudia Schiffer pictorial brings the imagery first and fashion après. Which strikes me as a very participative spread, contrary to the other two Vogue-esques, passive, fashion photography representatives.

Though Vogue Germany’s November 2009 issue looks at Claudia from a very different point of view, highlighting her physical abilities and her magic-related passé, it only revolves around the beige trench coat, from a fashion perspective. Which comes as rather dull for a Vogue fashion pictorial. But maybe I’m not feeling the Deutsch-spirit. Which one is your favorite Claudia this fall? Vogue Paris, Vogue Germany or Harper’s Bazaar? Claudia is back! :)
I like the Vogue Paris photos but they are a tad bland, the Harper’s Bazaar photos I find rather oppressive and unpleasant to look at, but I like the German Vogue photos best as they are just a little left of centre looking.

Claudia is back? I see her all the time! I don’t like any shoot really. Of late I find Claudia herself bland looking. The first photo in the pink cardigan, nice cardigan by the way in another colour, looks like the cover of a knitting magazine.

Hmmm… I haven’t thought about those Halloween-ish pictures as oppressive.. But now that you mention it, Ellington, there’s a strange feeling to them. Especially the one with the gun? Was that really necessary?

Adriana, you’re right, she’s not that glamorous but she’s beautiful in her discretion, all modest and quiet yet so gorgeous, with such perfect features! I think she grew old perfectly! I can hardly believe she’s almost 40!

Claudia is beautiful and she is “perfect” and yes, she grew “old” perfectly. But a bit bland in my view.
So 40 is now officially old? Great!

lol

In my indelicate view, growing up in fashion is growing old :P you can’t expect me to say that Kate Moss grew up to be the party wreck she is now?! instead, it’s absolutely natural to use growing old for a model who’s been on the job for two decades. That’s an eternity in fashion time! Claudia is officially 80 fashion years old, daaaahling!

Kids are ruthless time judges! You’re not the same age as they are, you’re “old”. Told’ya! I spent too much time with the kids, lately ;)

Okay! :D I misinterpreted you then…..argh…..
No, Kate isn’t really grow gracefully older certainly not by far in comparison to Claudia. I can’t help it, I also feel kinda sorry for Kate she has become that pathetic. Despite her bank account.

Hallo, good morning to you daaaaaaahling! :)
I’ve believe I’m in bad mood because my hairdresser has ruined my hair. And I told her she did things wrong…..I told her at least four times…..I’m very grrrrrrrrrr……I better stop typing “opinions” and looking in the mirror or even touch my hair! :P :((

No, please, don’t stop! I love it when your opinion is different from mine! plus you always come with sound arguments to show me your side of the story!

What? this must be a bad hair season.. I can’t make friends with my hair for more than a month now. I don’t know what got into it! So you see, you’re not the only one!

You’ve also a bad hair month? Ah, but that’s actually a comfort! Thanks for sharing sweetie. I need at least one month to recover from this disaster. But I know what got into it: that scissors and a “deaf”, half Spanish stubborn hairdresser. A lovely girl though and next time I let her cut my hair again but I’ve to show it to her….not today though…..:P
So hopefully it’s alright again with the festive upcoming holidays! I try now to be positive and enjoy my new Annayake scent and cute shoeties I do not really need….for now I’m just looking at the lovelies :)

Actually I agree that “growing old in fashion” is growing old far too early and that’s a bloody grrrr-shame!
