Barbie’s Year In Paris With Christian Louboutin

Now this is a lovely Barbie piece sent by our friend, Ellington! Thank you, beautiful, for keeping me au courant with Christian Louboutin’s latest adventure! Priceless!

Before I take this to the next snobbish level, let us all join hands and dance the childhood joy dance for this is such a glamorous new dawn for Barbie! She’s getting shoes from Louboutin, the magician of all things shoes! (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)

My Year In Paris Christian Louboutin Barbie

Rumors of a red sole shoe signed Louboutin for our precious Barbie were already flying for quite a while now, however, an entire Barbie-Louboutin year was quite the unexpected! And if we take a look at red headed Barbie Louboutin (clin d’oeuil), we’re getting that it’s really beyond a single pair of stilettos! It’s an entire wardrobe of shoes affair with Mr Christian Louboutin!

Now I’m still trying to understand the point of all this “My Year in Paris” album with miniature Louboutin and miniature Paris besides the obvious Barbie’s 50th anniversary reasons. Of course we’re happy for Barbie, of course we’d want our Barbie to wear only the best clothes from the best designers. But… is it really necessary? Isn’t this luxury a bit too much pampering for a mere doll? And shouldn’t we be the ones wearing those red soles out and about? Let’s ask Monsieur Louboutin to hook up with H & M for an affordable line of red soles! Is either that or I’m protesting and not buying any Barbie Loub! (what do you think this Year in Paris project is really all about?)

I think that it is about Barbie’s 50th year and also that Barbie dolls are sometimes the reason for a young girl’s piqued interest in fashion.
It is all just a bit of stylized fun, and rather cute. This is for the collectors. :)
Maybe Louboutin will hear you Kpriss and do a line of shoes with H&M? That would be fun! :)

Barbie does have a line of shoes out at the moment, some of them are rather cute actually.
I have seen them in Toronto at Town Shoes, they have a Barbie pink sole which reminds me of Louboutin’s iconic red sole.

Girls, I’ve to disappoint you: Mr. Louboutin don’t want to collaborate with H&M! I’ve read this some days ago at the NY Times, The Cut blog…..
I’m pleased though there are redheaded Barbies these days! Is that normal? Because in the past they didn’t exist plus we were too poor for a Barbie…..No, I’m not whining, I didn’t care at all. So I don’t care for those either. I bet the designer Barbie clothing are more expensive than the normal Barbie clothing which I still find very expensive…..
Nice for rich off-spring I suppose? Or for women who still love their Barbie(s) and have a good living and can afford it. No, I’m not cynical, I can imagine that….:))

Oh well no H&M Louboutins. That’s okay, thanks for tell us Adriana!
Yes I think that the red head Barbie is rather cute and very stylish! :)

Maybe he’ll change his mind (I keep my fingers crossed for that! I’m still daydreaming about those spikey shoes he did for Rodarte!) ! Who knows the mysterious ways of the economy? (I don’t , and I have an academic degree in economy! can you believe it? I just don’t want anything to do with that!)

I believe I understand the mysterious ways of the economy. I’ve predict the current state of our economy 10 years ago. People thought back then I was nuts and my ex was ehhh….., well very angry I didn’t wanted to invest our money in a soap bell….
I think we don’t go back to that state for a long time to go. Or maybe never. Things have changed forever. I can’t not explain this in academic terms because I’ve no degree either.:)
Am I a pessimist? Well, a pessimist is never disappointed right?

Maybe you’re a pessimist, but you’re a pessimist with a strong, true vision! Something I was never quite good at!

So you say we won’t get back to what we used to be? Why not? Maybe given time and the required amount of business intelligence, things will go back on track. Won’t they? You suddenly became my favorite e-analyst! :x

No, we don’t go back but can we do with less. I’ve so many things I do not really need. Why can’t we go back faster or maybe never? We’re bankrupt! That’s why. We’ve to start all over again, that takes time. It will not be gone in a year.
We’re fighting wars because of terrorists but I despise the terrorists of greediness maybe even more!

Ehhh, my “analyzes” are based on intuition and realistic thinking! That’s all…..;)
