Diane Kruger In NY Times T Magazine Cannes 2009 Issue

New York Times Magazine’s T Style is all about Cannes. The Cannes Film Festival is the next glam destination the Red Carpet adorers worldwide.

Not only it’s a festival about film, but it’s also in France. France, where everything, even the air you breathe is chic. so they say. Diane Kruger as photographed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino has that Deneuve-air with a pinch of BB that you don’t usually see on Diane. But she’s covering such a great issue, it’s no wonder she gives such an amazing start to NY Times’ T Style Magazine! Were you impatiently waiting for Cannes? (via)

Oh, I thought Cannes would be less glam this year. As I’ve read Swarovski, Fendi, Louis Vuitton has pulling out their usual sponshorship from the festival. L’Oreal has called off its annual promotion event as well.
What shall happen the Cannes Flm Festival which is always a mad house and the film press treated as footsoldiers, back to the old days of real film love? If that’s possible? Back to the basics? Though going up is always easier as goin back or down….
Kpriss, I don’t know if I’ve told this before here: but some years ago I’ve fled home after a few days because I felt miserable there nothing glam for us lesser mortals to see and sky rocket high prices for consumptions and messy hotels during the festival. I can tell long stories about this event…..

But this was about your beloved Diane Kruger. Yes, a nice glam photo but I can’t judge Diane really I’ve only seen her in “Troy” and didn’t like the that film much and can’t remember her as I do remember Connie Nielsen in “Gladiator”.
Sorry there’s only one Catherine Deneuve to me or one Brigitte Bardot for that matter…..

Yes I agree with you Adriana about Cannes and about Diane Kruger. I know that you love her Kpriss but she has not done anything that I truly remember or consider outstanding acting wise. As for female actors in ‘Troy’ I remember Saffron Barrows more than Diana as she had the more emotional scene of watching her husband Hector being slain by Achilles.
There is only one Catherine Deneuve or Brigitte Bardot.
