What could be better than talking about Katie Holmes and have an excellent news about her surfacing the very same day? Katie Holmes, a Miu Miu girl! Who would’ve thought? But I guess Miu Miu has a thing about child-women (remember Vanessa’s Miu Miu?)
They booked her for the Spring Summer 2009 Ad Campaign, we made our speculations some time ago, now we finally have an image for that photo shoot! Mert and Marcus worked with Katie on a Fellini-esque image, something luminous, mysterious and theatrical.
To me eyes, she still looks like a little girl playing mum and ravishing mum’s closet (and makeup case). I really can’t take her (that) seriously!
However, being published the same day, I can’t help but comparing Katie’s Miu Miu image with Armani’s Victoria Beckham. They both look theatrical but I really do prefer Posh for being more convincing and more grown up than Katie’s fierce yet empty feline look.
What’s your favorite? (via vogue.co.uk)

I prefer this one to Posh’s because I prefer Katie. The pic looks photoshopped tho.I wonder whatever for!
Let me review my choices!
a) Mrs. Beckham
b) Mrs. Cruise
c)I no like either.
I pick “c”.
Katie has turned into a sad looking woman. Yes she has heightened fame due to her marriage to Tom Cruise but what a horrid price to pay. She always looks unhappy.
Victoria is so processed its like drinking diet pop every time I look at her and I cannot abide diet pop.
I know Katie is a bit loony, but I actually love this image. Her gorgeous mug, that amazing dress, the styling … I dig.
I also pick ‘c’.
Dolly Bird, of course Katie is photoshopped. As everyone and everything seems to be. I don’t think an unhappy looking woman sells a product.
As for Victoria, I think she’s a Stepford Fashionista! As a robot she strutt around on her impossible shoes, a fashion zombie. Not even her $80,000 bag makes her smile. Even her eldest son Brooklyn looks sombre, the poor kid. I think that’s really sad……
