Now who’d be the next face of Chanel? It’s Jerry Hall. And it’s not just a face, it’s a body too, since the Spring Summer 2009 advertising campaign features Jerry and Baptiste Gabiconi, a young Italian model, in a bed sheet story.
Modern love life has lost the time notion and short adventures prime. I’m seeing Karl promoting the one night stand idea more and more. Now he’s working the age issue also with a young man and a woman twice his age, involved in a romance, all for a fashion commercial. Now can we build the Chanel client portrait starting with the new advertisement data? (via wwd)

I ike it to see Jerry Hall back on track but this new cliché doesn’t charm me. But I’m not a Chanel client….
The photo looks like it was fused together.I think it could have been better.
I like the idea of using mature models with a young hot guy!
Good for Jerry, cause Mick has been doing this for years!
Go Cougars!
you got me! It was all photoshop ;)
I think I’m more of a moralist here (and that isn’t good for fashion, I know) – it’s a charming thing, it could work for a magic moment. But I don’t see what Karl intends to change with his one-night-stand-ish campaigns… and that troubles me!
The theme for the campaign is supposed to be from the novel ‘Chéri’ by French autheress Colette and Jerry is to play the older lover of young Baptiste. Sounds great and I’d love to see Jerry again.
Oh, are you French Dolly Bird? I’ve always have had the feeling you are from France?
I love that novel “Chéri” by Colette. So heartbreaking….I hated Baptiste.
