Monica Bellucci, Dior’s Hypnotic Poison

Who’d be better to impersonate temptation if not Monica Bellucci? With a pinch of Photoshop, of course!

Her pose is pretty much identical everywhere, the same hypnotic beauty, the same cliché. Somehow I think she’s more suited for this campaign. Or Tyen (Dior’s art director) is really got at what he does! I was looking at the entire poster (you can find it right after the picture) and I had the weirdest feeling that Monica was the snake… That somehow, even if the snake is somewhere around her shoulders, it looks just like it’s one with her. Maybe it’s because of the purple dress she wears. Did you have the same feeling? (photos via tfs)

Boo Hoo its so obviously photoshopped (a teeny bit) but Monica looks so beautiful one forgives her.Apart from the snake effect I find her eyes hypnotizing.

A pity they over-photoshopped beautiful Monica! Anyway, that’s how it is. I love snakes. Yes, I do. If they are not too big or toxic of course. Believe it or not, some off them, like other animals have such cute and friendly eyes….
I really disliked Dior’s former “Poison”. No, I don’t want to sound so negative but you see girls, I had a co-worker who sprayed so much on her I start to sneeze and feels my eyes get teary by only thinking about it!

I love Monica Belluci , she is a classic beauty. Everything seems to be photo shopped so that is a non factor to me. I love how the dress trim looks like a snake.
I like snakes too Adriana. : )
Oh and how you feel about Poison I feel the same way about Patchouli, I was once trapped in an elevator with some one who probably liked to drink it and wear it! :P

You made me laugh with your over-spray-ing stories! Now I remembered I knew someone who was a Poison-fan. When she had her clothes put back in the wardrobe, she used to spray Poison on them, directly.

Dolly Bird, you’re right! I didn’t look into her eyes before. I was too caught in the snake effect! But she has “fierce” eyes there!

I like your thought that the snake “looks just like it’s one with” Monica … I had the same impression, like Monica turned into a serpent…

I think the ad was perfect for Hypnotic Poison, to me it really is a kind of a forbidden love potion :)…

But it’s true it can get cloying if you exaggerate…
