Elle US goes Wonder Women. With Hollywood women. (now, why do they see wonders only in Hollywood women, that beats my logic! Maybe because shallow journalism sells? Oh well, who cares anymore these days?)
Covering this Wonder-ful Women issue is Nicole Kidman. I’m not a fan, you already know that. Because I simply don’t believe that writing a piece about something unworthy can make the author more virtuous. I write about things I really believe in, things appealing the common sense and objective logic, in respect for my readers. So, that gets me back to Nicole and how she doesn’t usually impress me. Well, this time she did! (more photos after the jump)
The cover isn’t that great, but I’m getting used to difficult Elle covers since Jennifer Lopez October’s US issue. Not even that green Carolina Herrera dress doesn’t save her cover. But the pictures inside surprised me completely (and again it’s not because of the simple Fendi red dress!). Not only she smiles like a human being and not like a botox droid, but she looks charming! she is disgustingly gorgeous.
Photoshopping & airbrushing are amazing things. They’ve certainly photoshopped the bust line. Even during or just after her pregnancy, she never had a bust line like that.
Botoxed or airbrushed or photoshopped,Nicole’s always had the basics of good skin and bone structure so she’ll always look good in photos. However here on the cover she really looks like Victoria Siverstadt!
She looks healthy and not too skinny, birthing babies seems to agree with her. ; )
The shots inside are a nice change from her usually very frozen style photos.
