Marilyn. The neverending fascination around her and her life is stirred again with 586 unseen belongings of the blond legend.
Balancing between letters, receipts and Monroe’s will, those who are fascinated by Marilyn can find more and more reasons to love and respect her because it was proven (reading the letters she wrote to fans, colleagues, relatives, friends) that she was a witty and courteous person. Her schedule wasn’t helpful in maintaining close correspondences but she did manage all from her personal life to her employees. Who was Marilyn, after all and why did she died on us all of a sudden? Will a bunch of objects explain her to us? (don’t miss the exclusive video after the jump)
I could be writing endless pages on Marilyn and still I wouldn’t have said it all. I could be taking sides in her story but it wouldn’t be fair. Her memory is very much alive and people will never let her die, even if they have to dig up half the world to discover another itsy bitsy thingy belonging to the blonde Marilyn. Here you have the Vanity Fair October Secret Marilyn Files video introduction documentary by Sam Kashner and Mark Anderson.

They found a little film in Australia yesterday of Marilyn on the set of ‘Some Like It Hot’.It was made by a GI visiting the film set.Its going to be auctioned soon in Melbourne.
Will Marilyn ever Rest In Peace.
She was an interesting woman.
My favourite film of hers was “Bus Stop”. She will always hold people’s interest, just like James Dean and Elvis.
Marilyn was a lot besides sexy, indeed interesting, far smarter than people think I’ve the feeling. I always found her so sweet…there’s something so sweet about her.
I liked “The Misfits” the best tho she was in a terrible state at the time. I do even remember her short appearances in “All About Eve” one of my old time fave movies.
But, I would love to see people let her rest in peace now. I’m afraid tho as for Elvis, James Dean she may will ever find rest. Would the same thing going to happen to Heath Ledger?
