Meet The Cake. The Bond Cake!

I’m on a sugar spree lately so inevitably, my attention goes without reserves to cookies. And since I came to you with interesting cakes before, here I go again:

The Bond Wedding Cake! It’s daring enough for a cake, nevertheless, the challenge goes further- it’s a wedding cake! I remember our parents’ faces when we told them (me and my husband) that we’d like our wedding cake to be brown (because that’s how that cake was meant to be, with chocolate), I can only imagine the faces of those who participated to the bond-cake wedding! (we actually ended up getting the traditional white cake – if you wiped the cream away, it was the same brown chocolate cake we wanted in the first place!) How do you feel about traditional cakes? What’s your perfect cake like?

The Bond cake’s quite funny.I like it.I have a major weakness for Fruit cake, the British make them best. And for original Black Forest when I’m in Austria.Lately I bought a French Macaron cake and was slightly disappointed. My perfect traditional cake would be a Wedding fruit cake with almond icing.

Ooh that’s great, i’m sure everyone is excited to hear about your fruit cake purchase and your French Macaron cake.

I’m hanging on every word. Do go on, don’t stop.

The Bond cake is quirky fun.
I think it nice that people are injecting a bit of the personality into their special occasion cakes.
My perfect cake is a chocolate cake that is moist, rich and decadent!

Dolly Bird, you have a favorite cake in every country! Perfect! I haven’t found a fruit cake to suit me until now.. I’m still searching :)

Ellington, my favorite cake is a chocolate one too. Chocolate and cherry, very refreshing!

Jason, I can tell you don’t eat cake. You’re so bitter…
