I may be in an overcritic mood today, but is my sight deceiving me or these so long awaited ads for Calvin Klein Underwear are not so curvy after all?
I thought she was supposed to revolutionize the lingerie modeling and all I see is a badly combed, bad taste blue eye-makeup-ed, waist-less woman. Who’s photographed in a highly unease pose. (more photos after the jump)
It’s called Seductive Comfort. Well I don’t see the comfort and surely no seduction there. Other than this, I confess that my favorite underwear award goes to a beige monogrammed CK set. I never worn such seamless lingerie (the seamless-gods included : Gossard just doesn’t cut it for me) and I think I’ll never find the same comfort in another brand. However, Eva’s wearing some serious-padded bra, that would curve even the ironing table, pardon my French. Those plastic looking abs have nothing to do with a curvaceous anatomy and, they make my hair rise Everest-high thinking that people can look at that photoshop tummy and take it for real.
Oh, and this photo where she’s wearing black lingerie is beyond my understanding. I feel bad for poor Eva and I sincerely hope the posing wasn’t long! And in case it took like forever, I hope she was a smart girl and took the opportunity to sign up for a Guiness World Record of holding her breath. Share your feelings about this campaign, don’t let it go to waste, they’ll brainwash us someday into photoshop guided consumerists!(click thumbnails to see larger images)

I wonder if it would have had a better effect if the photos were in black and white.Anyway the campaign looks so ordinary and like any other lingerié ad.
I guess that Eva is curvy by Hollywood /fashion standards. If they wanted to use curvy I would have thought of Selma Hayek. Eva looks bland in these ads to me, she does not make me want to run right out and snap up those nickers!
They are also chatting about her new Calvin Klein perfume ad where she is topless. Apparently it is “causing a disturbance in the force” because you can see one of her nipples. She is getting a lot of play of late, she has a new film called “Spirit” coming out soon.
Calvin Klein’s underwear campaigns were a certified value in black and white, you’re right Dolly B! I’ll render them in Photoshop and see if they work any wonders!
Salma wouldn’t have done it I think.. She was with that richer than God fiance till late. So I guess if she dumped all that dope, a lingerie ad wouldn’t have meant the world to her.

The last film I saw with her was Cleaner. And she did some bad acting, as usual… I think I only liked her in Hitch..
