So it goes. Sometimes good people are called in earlier… Yves Saint Laurent died at the age of 71 after a long illness (the reason of death wasn’t mentioned).
Fashion just suffered a big loss. Adieu Yves Henri Donat Mathieu Saint Laurent! Thy innovative work shall always be honored properly!

Just like on Style.com I only can say that I can’t find the right words to express my feelings about his loss. I’m really devastated despite that he has a history of depressions and illnesses. R.I.P. Monsieur Yves Saint-Laurent
Though teased his whole life by his demons Yves Saint Laurent was able to design so many great pieces. Was the first one with so many revolutionary ideas and style. Inspired lots of other designers. I do even believe that the way we are dressed today is still influenced by him.
This is the definite end of an era in fashion…..
May he have found the peace of mind he hardly was able to enjoy in his life despite what he was and meant to so many people. Merci bien Yves et adieu……
