You know that sometimes bad things happen to good people.. like earthquakes (like the one from China)…
Well, I guess bad things happen to bad people also! Sharon Stone made a disgraceful comment on the kindness of Chinese people towards the “Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine. And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened and I though, is that karma – when you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”
In response, Dior China released an apology and a promise to help reconstruction. Maybe even drop “very sad” Sharon from the campaign.
How’s that for basic bad juju?

If this wasn’t so sad and indeed disgraceful I could have laughed about her Hollywood nonsense.
Is possible Sharon’s bad Karma is the cause she hasn’t a real movie hit since ages?
Dior? Underhand dealings now they just found a new huge market to explore?
Only for the record, she’s only fired of their China campaign. And that Dior has to make an apologize instead of Mrs. Stone is turning the world upside down, But I heard that she regrets her remarks and blame it on the journalists. She wasn’t properly quoted, what that means we all know. She said it, hahaha.
hahaha! You’re right, Adriana, it’s her bad karma having that many b-movies lately and so little success. Maybe that’s what she’s trying to do -draw a little attention to herself…
Isn’t that what they always say to come clean? that they were misquoted? Blame it on the journalists, right? so little of her (but understandable given the proportions of her deeds)
Blame the journalists? Right, the footage must have been manipulated of course?
Dior is thinking about their money on the China market and are hypocrites.
Sharon Stone’s comment about Katrina.
News Reporter: Did you hear know about the typhoon in New Orleans?
Stone: Of cause I have. You know, it’s very interesting about that since first, I’m not happy about the way USA treats the Iraqis because I think anyone should not be unkind to anyone else. And so I am being very concerned about the election of the next president
of the US and A, because we had not being nice to Saddam Hussein, who is a good friend of mine. And Katrina typhoon ,and all the stuff happened, and I thought, is that Karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen. And then I got a letter from the Iraqi Foundation that they want to go and be helpful. This made me cry. And they asked me if I
will write a quote to that, and I said I would that it was a big lesson to me, that sometimes you have to learn to put your face down and be a dog to the person who aren’t nice to you. And that is a big lesson to me.
May 29 (Bloomberg) — LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, the world’s largest luxury-goods maker, urged its model Sharon Stone to clarify remarks suggesting a May 12 earthquake may have been “karma” for China’s policies on Tibet.
“If there is a possibility of putting things in the right perspective, coming from the heart, I think that is the best thing to do,” Group Managing Director Antonio Belloni said at a luxury-goods conference in Tokyo today. The comments from Stone, who appears in advertisements for LVMH’s Christian Dior cosmetics and perfumes, were “unfortunate,” he added.
“If she doesn’t agree, I think we have to acknowledge she doesn’t agree and detach us from her,” Belloni said.
I have to respond on the Dalai etc Lama. It’s really hilarious but actually the truth, what he/she wrote. I love this comment. Actressess which know nothing about what’s going on in this world (read the outburst of a Chinese actress at Cannes) will tell the world what’s going on in it. They are only wellknown within their own envirement, who did it with who etc. They have to shut their mouth about the problems in this world, despite that I have some problems with Adriana she has right that she mention this over and over again on another forum.
[…] was shown the exit door from the Dior China contract and not even a month away she features her gorgeous blond self in another advertising campaign. […]
