While I was up to my ears in modestly reviewing the 2013 SAG Awards Red Carpet, more than one fashionable cover happened. Let’s take them one by one: Victoria Beckham has an exclusive with the all new Elle UK, the March 2013 issue.
I understand that this is a new approach for Elle? One where printed media and the web collide in one cover line: ’48 hours in the non stop world of Victoria Beckham Exclusive Interview + Video’. Interesting approach, also promoted by a second cover title ‘Fashion See it, love it, shop it, share it’.
That’s the change I can see on the cover. As far as Victoria goes, I like how they styled her, this time. Although in this Carter Smith photo she looks like the long lost double of Cara Delevigne, Victoria feels less artificial than she used to in years past.
Only two additional images have been released so far, both showing a relatively unknown Victoria Beckham who’s usually posing as her pouty and distant self. Not that she wouldn’t look distant even now, but let’s all agree that this image (with the gray skirt) is something unseen before: Victoria looks human. Fragile. How’s that even possible? (just in case you were wondering what lays ahead: the pictorial was shot in Vegas, so do expect it to become fabulous!)

I find the cover distracting what with the “third arm” of the sleeve of the jacket just hanging there.
Love it! I love her hair and her skin tone, and the way they make her eyes pop! I quite like her as a person, she always seems humble and funny in her interviews, which is quaint because I can’t possibly relate to her in any way.
