25 Pink Hair Styles To Dye For!

2013 is proving to be quite a year already! Jodie Foster coming out in a public speech, on Live Television? (remember her Golden Globes Awards memorable speech I was telling you about?) That was only made possible by my coming out as a pink loving person!

What? It was just as ground shattering for me as it was for Jodie, I can assure you of that! I never imagined myself as a pink person. Actually, if anyone asked previous to my 2013 Inspiration Board moment, I would’ve assured him / her that I’m a black loving person. A gray loving person. But pink? Would’ve never crossed my mind! And still…

A single look in my wardrobe and will prove that my most treasured clothing – possessions are on the pink side. Purple, pink, fuchsia, they’re all right there! A single raid in my nail polish stack and you’ll see not one, not two but at least 5 different shades of pink. A single peak in my Facebook page’s photos and you’ll see a pink thread going through almost every day’s postings! Isn’t that weird? Not so much having all that pink around me, but having all that pink and not being aware of it!

So here I am, talking about two of my obsessions: pink and hair! (next on my obsessions list: nails. But I won’t bother you with nails, for now – wink – I’ll just ramble on about hair and the many shades of pink hair I came across in my daily inspiration rounds.) Not one, not two but 25 pink hair style to dye for (pun intended, of course). I don’t have the courage to permanently change the color of my hair, even for pink, but I sure do like to marvel at the wonderful mane shades out there!

Kpriss, that was not a coming out speech. It was a speech about privacy!! Everybody knows for years and years that Jodie is gay. I have listen to her speech like five times. Because it was one of the most moving and also great speeches made by an actor. Not a movie star.
No, it’s not my English. The day after I read about her “coming out speech”? Huh? What?
I have read many discussions on the web: I did not misunderstood Jodie. I adore her. She’s a rare breed among those Hollywood stars. She and her former partner have cute red haired sons. A bit pinkish hair? Or maybe I look at Jodie through pink glasses being a huge fan. Who cares she’s gay? :)

Lol! Yes, we noticed you love pink!! It’s not for me but I love young girls with their coloured hair. Of course the one and only Kate, yesterday it was her 39th birthday, looks good with pink hair! Kate can manage that. Congratulations to the young lady ;)

I know, I know, it wasn’t a coming out per se, but everyone saw it as one and it was a good opening line ;)

yes, I first wanted to do a collection for Kate Moss’ birthday and then I got lost in the pink translation lol :)

Yes Appollonia I agree Jodie’s acceptance speech was not a coming out speech. It was about privacy and how she chooses to live her life. : )
Sometimes the way that people expand and explode things unnecessarily annoys me to no end it shows that they were not really hearing what she was saying.
As for this pink hair, I really like it! It is so fun and full of joy! Not everyone could pull it off but those who can it will look great! Makes me think of Spring! And the tune from the Audrey Hepburn film “Funny Face”; “Think Pink!” !
: )

Kpriss dear, not everyone saw it as a coming out speech. Because it wasn’t. I was very surprised to read that the next day.

Ellington, I agree. But that’s obvious by now.

Pink? Aerosmith? And….since the pink talk here….I still own some pinkish pieces or with a touch of pink in the pattern of the fabric. In the ’80’s I have dyed some girls and boys hair pink or with a touch of pink! Not me. Ever. Love my own red hair. Plus I can’t pull that off. Hopes that I end up as my mamma: not one grey hair! Her flaming red hair faded to a sort of pink…:)
