I was thinking about Jennifer Lopez the other day.. The Met day. And I was thinking how much she changed ever since she settled down. Her husband, her children, whatever may have been the cause, I’m happy she did.
Gracing the cover of Marie Claire UK June 2010, there she goes: Jenny from the Block, accomplished wife, mother and artist. The only objection I have about the cover is the hair. I wonder if it was the stylist’s version of a bed head, even so, I’ve seen far better bedheads and I bet you did too! (the story continues right after the jump with more images! Her interview comes to sustain the new Jennifer Lopez – friendly, down to earth, happy, loving. Like the big sister you wish you had…
‘Just like anybody I try to watch what I eat – there’s no big science to it, which is what sucks. One of the good tricks is to have a goal – for me it may be getting in shape for a video shoot. The other is portion control. I love to eat everything and you pretty much can – a little piece of something fattening is not going to kill you. It’s when you eat the whole box that it’s going to kill you. If you can learn to not eat till your stomach feels full and gross, then you can pretty much control your life in that area.’
All in all, it’s good to see someone as relaxed and fulfilled as Jennifer Lopez looks in this edition of Marie Claire UK. (please change the hairstylist?)
