This week I thought I’d pump it up a bit with an energetic Friday Break! And I hope I got it right with a wonderful song (and artsy video) My Drive Thru performed by Santogold, Julian Casablancas and N.E.R.D., produced by the musical (and more) genius that is Pharrell Williams.

If you thought you’re not gonna get your Converse fill this week, well, never say never! This is it! Yep, My Drive Thru is a very special musical celebration for Converse’s 100th anniversary!
Julian Casablancas (the lead vocal from The Strokes), Santi White and Pharrell Williams worked on a celebratory piece that’ll get you up from that chair and dance those Converse away! The video, as you’ve seen it, it’s mighty artsy, the 2.30 minutes being a complete CGI origami madness with the same paper dolls that appear in Converse’s Connectivity print ad campaign. 10,000 paper figurines were used in the making of this video that was released in June 2008 and available for free download on converse.com.
