Jessica Alba And Her Purple Roger Vivier Cut Up Bag
January 23rd, 2009 by kpriss
Remember that alphabet luxury game you can play with your bag chez Roger Vivier, the game they call Roger Vivier Cut Up Bag?
Jessica Alba played it too. But I guess she wasn’t quite in the mood since all she picked was a big red J and a small white-contoured A. Red and white on purple, it’s not really what I would’ve picked for a stylish combo, but I’m not Jessica Alba (and then again, what’s the use of having a discreet, tasteful bag?) Who’s next?
She came a long way from that blue Chanel I loved so much a year ago! Is it because Roger Vivier is high fashion right now, or is it just another freebie?(photos via celebutopia)

Madonna For Louis Vuitton SS09 Behind The Scenes
January 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
“What do you think of Marc Jacobs? He’s.. He’s kinda hot, actually! Uuuuuh!!!! Heard that, everyone?”
Yes, Marc, we hear you! We know it was your idea to bring Madonna for this ad campaign and we’re fully aware of her Madgesty overwhelming contribution to the success of this campaign.
What I don’t fully understand is why do you need fashion professionals chez Louis Vuitton since you’re all about celebs? Sophia Coppola doing a bags and shoes collection, Madonna for the marketing… It’s that the new IT? Celeb slam dunk? I’ll be your face if you’ll be mine?

The New Height Standard: Who Tall Are You?
January 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
I remember growing my way up on the door. Another year gone by, another mark. Now it’s all easier with the new Who tall are you mirror!
It’s all about your favorite celeb and measuring up to them. It’s the new funny way to catch up with your height in a mirror with all your celebs inked there. Actually, I never thought I’d be eye in eye with Naomi Campbell… metaphorically speaking, we’re just as tall (if we’re to believe this fancy mirror).
Sold out in every store, this mirror was awarded with the first prize Gift of the year 2008! Who tall are you? (click the picture to see large image) (wellsdesign via bookofjoe)
Mischa Barton Has A New Job Chez Herbal Essence!
January 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
I really don’t understand why people who look so miserable get called in for a spokesface job!
Mischa Barton looks like she’s worth at least the entire world and she unfortunately had to take on the Herbal Essence offer to be their new face just because… no reason. Just because. Well, here’s the new (formerly unemployed, currently proud shampoo presenter) princess from Herbal Essence.
Looking forward to the shampoo ad. Wonder how she’ll play that one! Uuuh.. tough role! I was just wondering if they gave her the part because of her own herbal troubles…(photos via justjared)
Is That A Bird? Is It A Plane? No, It’s Kate Moss By Yuko Nasu!
January 22nd, 2009 by kpriss
But it could be a bird just as well! Kate Moss continues to be a muse in every way. For the ordinary people she inspires their choice of outfits, for the artists she inspires a golden statue here, a painting in blood there…
Oh well, in case you were wondering if this is a Yoga position as well, no, it’s a… (oh, I’m not so good at art!) it’s a portrait of Kate Moss, signed by Japanese artists Yuko Nasu.
The artist’s desire is to see “what sorts of things can make a person be recognized or differentiated from others”.
How would you elegantly put it, if this looked nothing like Kate? Because this painting looks more like a bird than Kate Moss (to me)!
In case you feel the urge to go see if you recognize some people, the free admissions at Yuko Nasu’s John Doe exhibition at the Arts Gallery, 65 Davies Street, London starts today! Be kind and please let us know who you found (in the paintings)! (via vogue.co.uk)

Freshface Yulia Saparniyazova
January 21st, 2009 by kpriss
Today’s freshface is an interesting young Russian (Uzbek-born) called Yulia Saparniyazova.
I was intrigued by her looks so I decided to present you some pictures with Yulia. Brunette with brown eyes, 178/81/59/85 5’10”/32”/23”/33.5” the young Russian will celebrate her 18th birthday on February 3. I can’t wait to hear your opinion, from what I’ve seen she can really make it big in fashion with that face! (via)
Katie Holmes In Another Escada For London Valkyrie
January 21st, 2009 by kpriss
Just a moment ago I was wondering whether to like or not Katie’s long Escada dress and her semi pulled back frizzy hairdo from the Berlin premiere of Tom’s Valkyrie! Now I have to change all that for yet another Escada but short(er) dress and slick bob.
Straight hair seems to work better with Katie’s constitution and current haircut. And even if I like the new Escada she’s wearing (too bad it has to be black!), I’m not sure about the black opaque tights and sandals. Either way, I think London suits Katie.
Should she have kept it bare legs? Curly hair? (photos via dailymail, justjared)
