The World’s Longest Wedding Gown Train

A new world record has been broken: the world’s longest wedding gown train measures now 1,579 meters long (5,180 ft); previously, the longest wedding gown train was in Cyprus, measuring 4,468 ft. The new record train has 7,000 Swarovski Crystals and was ready in 70 days. The dress was made in Romania by Ioana Comanescu and presented at a recent wedding fest held in Bucharest, Romania. I remember (digging down on the fashion history road) there was a time when a sneaker’s place was on the tennis court, in the field, on the running track, in the gym, wherever sauf on the catwalk. Things have changed and the highest priests of fashion praise the sneakers, lending a helping hand to creating new and fashionable sport shoes.

Leon Verres And Le Billionaire Champagne

Drinking champagne is, to me, associated with special moments. I don’t think than bubbling up the moment would bring more flavor to the celebration, but I sometimes like traditions just where and when they’re supposed to be.
Leon Verres’s ambition, to launch a bottle of sparkling wine for the elites of the Rich Club is a risky initiative in times like these, but I guess for some, a 9 liters (304 fl oz) champagne bottle for $2,75 million could be looked at as a bargain. Amy Adams Does W Magazine In May 2009

Dressing like Mary Poppins for the cover or W Magazine, didn’t announced the 60s Rock’n’roll ispired pictorial, but Amy Adams pulls it with grace and authenticity, just like she pulls that strange Marc Jacobs outfit on the cover.
W Magazine’s May issue takes Amy Adams, adds fashion and gets a sweet, retro pictorial just like sweet Amy. I don’t mind the striking Nicole Kidman resemblance, I focus on the Marc Jacobs outfit complexity and it’s all behind me.
I wonder if W would have ever picked on Amy if it wasn’t for her Doubt Oscar nomination… (via)

Being a bag devoted fan (even more, I’m a high heel shoes addict, whenever I can stretch outside the park-kids-groceries-converse-flats daily theme) doesn’t exclude owning a backpack.
A backpack is good for you! A backpack is something to have and take out for a walk whenever necessary. Even if you feel the temptation, you shouldn’t give in and wear you backpack at a cocktail or a fancy party, regardless if it’s a Marc by Marc Jacobs backpack! Michelle Obama’s Wax Figure Stylish Like The Real MObama?

Given she’s making the high designers shed blood tears for not being chosen by the First Lady, Michelle Obama is my fash-adored! I really like her style, her choice of outfits, her way of lovingly holding hands with her husband, the President!
I really wish she had had the time to pose for this wax figure, wearing her own clothes, with her own attitude. But even so, I think just by studying the pictures and her public appearances, Madame Tussauds specialists made a pretty good job.
