Long story short: you’ll never miss the last drop of anything if the packaging departments of any company using dispensers for their products would start using Last Drop containers!
The Last Drop is a special designed container proposed by Seon-Keun Park and Jin-Sun Park.The Last Drop is so much more than design friendly: is also environment and user friendly. It’s transparent, you can see just how much product you have left and it has a specially designed bottom so every drop of product can be pumped out. Isn’t it smart? And so simple! (via)

What a surprise, really! Of all models, Lara Stone on the cover of Carine Roitfeld’s Vogue Paris September 2009? Absolutely unexpected!
Without being ironic, this is new but only as far as Lara’s haircolor (and some of her styling) goes. With a little help from Mert and Marcus, she’s supposed to bring a certain Gloria from our memory but nobody dares to say who that Gloria really is. Maybe my inspiration fails me but I can’t think of any brunette other than Gloria Estefan. Do help me, who the mystery Gloria would be? (more images right after the jump!) (photos via)

Pale vs Orange: two worlds…ahem covers apart for V Magazine’s September 2009 issue. Amber Valletta with her sculptural beauty on a black and white, simple cover and Lady Gaga on a neon, orange Warhol-ian cover.
I’m not authorized to challenge Lady Gaga’s reign over the pop ( & co) world, she is the absolute Weird Queen, but as far as V magazine’s cover goes, I feel a huge migraine menace coming when looking at the orange cover. So much for tanning beds and healthy tanning! At least they’ve got a model cover… (via)

Another Brigitte Bardot-type pictorial! What a wonderful, new way to celebrate the fashion debuts of Georgia May Jagger for the ad campaign of denim brand Hudson.
She may be only 17-year old, but Georgia May takes on the footsteps of Brigitte Bardot under Meisel Testino’s photographic directions. I understand she can make denim look good, but why use the same old cliché to sell something brand new and supposedly original? (photos via 1, 2)

Talking about non-models and ad campaigns – did you know that Converse was aggressively advertising its customization service? Some of the following images may not be as appealing as Tom Ford or even Padma Lakshmi, the intellectual!
..but they do the job! I felt strangely ambivalent but since I’m 100% a Converse girl, I was highly indulgent with the new Hybrid Monsters wearing Converse One sneakers!
