Estee Lauder’s Let’s Play Makeover!
August 28th, 2009 by kpriss
Every passing day brings us closer to a statue’s static perfection! If yesterday (generically speaking), we were enjoying outings and social gatherings (of any kind and size), today we would much rather stay in the comfort and coziness of our own home, behind our computer screen, if possible.
Estee Lauder’s Let’s Play Makeover is taking us a step closer to that static ideal I was talking about! Because now you can download a makeover experiment allowing you to use your own photo and try out makeup shades and products. It’s your personal makeup artist kit, courtesy Estee Lauder! Ladies? Do try this at home! (via)
Peaches Geldof Is A Complete Fashion Mess
August 28th, 2009 by kpriss
There are two possibilities for this story: either Peaches Geldof thought she was making a poor little rich girl statement, either she took her father’s wardrobe for her own and the fitting sessions involved scissors.
No matter how you look at it, Peaches manages to look wrong on all accounts, guilty of a major fashion/style crime: thinking that everything goes. No, Peaches darling, not everything goes! (the story continues right after the jump!)
Vogue Hommes A Fashion Magazine For Men Or Women?
August 27th, 2009 by kpriss
My curiosity was seriously teased when I saw this cover for Vogue Men Japan. I’m now bringing it before you to judge and tell if men magazines are for Men or Women!
Looking at this photo (taken by Steven Klein and styled by Nicola Formichetti) with Travis Hanson in a somewhat stripping pole routine I wonder which straight man will buy this issue just because of the cover? Unless this particular Vogue issue targets the gay audience out there, Vogue Hommes is a fashion magazine for women? (photo via)

Arlenis Sosa And Chanel Iman In Harper’s Bazaar All That Jazz September 2009
August 27th, 2009 by kpriss
Before October magazine issues start making their way out, let me show you a little charming piece of pictorial for Harper’s Bazaar September 2009: Arlenis Sosa and Chanel Iman sweet interpretation of All That Jazz.
Besides that beautiful 40s fashion and lady like styling and makeup, I love a story telling pictorial. Something that goes beyond the regular pouting and frowning and fashionably angry looks. Plus the black and white photos bring sexy back on track! (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)
Dare To Wear These Nails?
August 27th, 2009 by kpriss
When you take manicure to extreme, what do you get? (besides a Guiness Book record?) you get interesting looking manicures, some at the point of being downright art.
But sometimes you have to ask that question, you know, the one that keeps popping in everyone’s mind: how do you live with that? How do you wear those nails on a regular daily basis? (the story continues with more images right after the jump!)

Sanda Bullock’s Lanvin Disaster For All About Steve Premiere
August 27th, 2009 by kpriss
At some point on its way from the Catwalk to the Red Carpet, this Spring Summer 2009 Lanvin dress was stolen by nasty green gremlins and this is what they returned to Sandra Bullock for her All About Steve movie premiere.
Unfortunately, even Sandra got word that something went terribly wrong with the Lanvin dress. Look at her expression! (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

Zippers Are Now Used For Tall Constructions
August 27th, 2009 by kpriss
You know when the designers say they find inspiration everywhere around them? From architecture to their very own clothes? Well, imagine things going the other way around: architecture being inspired by fashion!
It sounds scary? It looks beautiful, though! A building in Uruguay had a zipper work done to fit in that punk goth fall courant! It makes you think: if unzipped? Will it fall apart? That’s what I call high street fashion! (photo via)
Love Miley Cyrus And Taylor Swift Issue Two
August 27th, 2009 by kpriss
Katie Grand’s Love issue Two is set to change our minds about some things we weren’t quite ready to challenge. Or praise.
But that’s Love, inexplicable, out of the blue, beyond reason and logic. Because how else am I supposed to interpret an alternative culture/fashion magazine preaching Love for Miley? Yup, that stands for Miley Cyrus! (the story continues with more pictures right after the jump!)
