Heartbeats Headphones By Lady Gaga

I’m sure she would have wanted to start designing for the world’s closet, but for the moment, Lady GaGa is taking things slowly, whispering in your ear from her very own Heartbeats earphones.

Made in collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, the new Lady Gaga headphones are supposed to make you hear music just the way Dre does. Or Lady Gaga does. Though it’s a high precision musical gadget, I see a clear resemblance to a tenderizing hammer. I must be really hungry right now! Oh well, getting back to the Lady Gaga’s musical sci-hi-fi beats doin’ – it’s released this very October so get your steaks ready! Ahem … ears! (via)

Christopher Kane’s Topshop Collection

Techno edgy, substantially glamorous and irresistible, Christopher Kane’s collection for Topshop hits stores Friday, September 18th. You have almost 10 days to get ready for the psychedelic funky fashion adventure that is the Scottish designer Christopher Kane.

It’s like the fresh air you needed after Kate Moss doing that vintage-y, grannie’s closet collection of hers. Oh, and yes, there will be replicas of that Gorilla print you saw on Rihanna a while back! Already marked your calendar? Friday, September 18th it’s Christopher Kane and Topshop time!

Beyonce’s Russian Magazines Photoshop Adventure

I know Photoshop is now a widely spread magazine routine. I know I shouldn’t raise my eyebrows anymore, and still…

This colorful Russian moment is brought to you by Joy and Glamour. Joy was the first to publish Beyonce’s picture in 2007 and Glamour’s cover is a 2009 reprint, of the very same image. I know you love a good challenge. So, where’s the fail? (besides the obvious timeless, ageless feature of our most lovely Beyonce) (Glossip via PSD)

Manolo Blahnik Had Enough Of SATC

Though he has HBO’s SATC series to thank for his stardomness, Manolo Blahnik doesn’t feel waves of gratitude flowing towards the TV show and its cohorting fans.

Despite of the overwhelming economic recession, Manolo’s shoe business had a blooming year last year thanks to the “stupid satin shoes […] That shoe saved our company” (strange, since that stupid cobalt blue satin shoe was especially designed by Mr Manolo Blahnik for SATC’s Carrie!) What lies at the other end of full bank accounts upsets Mr. Blahnik: he doesn’t like the celeb status. He doesn’t like being recognized by simple taxi drivers. Mentions about SATC make him sick. That means SATC 2 will launch another shoe god? (via, photos via 1, 2)

Kate Moss And the GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Openly admitting that she’s “absolutely terrible” at events doesn’t really help Kate Moss get through the pressure of presenting gal pal Lily Allen with the Woman of the Year award at the GQ Royal Opera House event in Covent Garden. Au contraire.

Besides looking absolutely trashed out, Kate Moss, the great Kate Moss mistakes an architectural column for a stripping pole and she does her best dancing impression while almost showing her behind. Looking good, Kate! But do you only rely on your good looks to make a presentable, decent impression? (via)

Salvador Dali Crazy About Lanvin!

France, 1958. Salvador Dali is not beyond marketing and surely not beyond chocolate! Though you could be tempted to believe this Lanvin Chocolat may have something to do with Lanvin, it’s an entirely different story. Lanvin was a small chocolaterie first created in 1921, today part of the Nestlé giant. (via)

Baptiste Giabiconi’s Wallpaper October 2009

If you were hoping Karl would grow over Baptiste, here’s Wallpaper * to prove you otherwise! Karl Lagerfeld shot Baptiste Giabiconi in a 27 pages pictorial for the October 2009 edition of Wallpaper *.

Luckily, there’s more to this issue than just Baptiste. 3 covers by 3 guest editors with Karl Lagerfeld and Philippe Starck. And because I really don’t share Karl’s Giabiconi obsession and I don’t see myself living my youth in Baptiste just like Karl does, I feel most annoyed by Karl stuffing Baptise down our fash-throats. Are you feelin’ Baptiste? Who does? (via)
