Now this is a beautiful, Christmas-y sight to see! The first First Lady on the cover of Glamour magazine?
Michelle Obama is one of the five Glamour Women of the Year covers as photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath. I simply love the cover and her mentoring ways! Hopefully she’ll bring the right inspiration to the right people! The interview, written by Katie Couric, is the perfect example of mentoring, of solid, beautiful parenthood (and beyond) as preached by Michelle Obama.
Don’t look at the bankbook or the title. Look at the heart. Look at the soul.. When you’re dating a man, you should always feel good… You shouldn’t be in a relationship with somebody who doesn’t make you completely happy and make you feel whole.

My wardrobe may be first-hand stuffed but when I stumble across looks like this one, I have no regrets about not second-hand crossdressing! Didn’t you used to watch the skies and try to identify familiar shapes in the walking clouds? Well, while some of us still do that, others have grown up and instead of staring at the blue sky, they’re trying to frame familiar images in the world’s map!
This is one of those stunning examples of restless human mind imagination! Take South America, put it on top of Africa, do a quick counter-clockwise 90deg turn and you can pride yourself with a Tyrannosaurus Rex! Ha! (via)

From this day on, every time I’ll have to imagine a night out (dancing that is), I’ll think of Balmain, the Spring Summer 2010 collection! This collection was made for partying!
And as much as I dislike skinny pants and acknowledge the discomfort produced by a tight piece of clothing with countless sequins on, I’ll have to admit I would happily open my wardrobe doors to some of Christophe Decarnin’s pieces from the Spring Summer 2010 Balmain collection!
