Michelle Obama’s Glamour, December 2009

Now this is a beautiful, Christmas-y sight to see! The first First Lady on the cover of Glamour magazine?

Michelle Obama is one of the five Glamour Women of the Year covers as photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath. I simply love the cover and her mentoring ways! Hopefully she’ll bring the right inspiration to the right people! The interview, written by Katie Couric, is the perfect example of mentoring, of solid, beautiful parenthood (and beyond) as preached by Michelle Obama.

Don’t look at the bankbook or the title. Look at the heart. Look at the soul.. When you’re dating a man, you should always feel good… You shouldn’t be in a relationship with somebody who doesn’t make you completely happy and make you feel whole.

Yes, Michelle I know that……

She usually makes a nice cover or photoshoot. She’s the living proof she is that older women are attractive. And she can hoola hoop!! I’m still impressed by this kind of trivial skills! :))

Michelle Obama is one of my many sheroes, and I will be getting this issue. She looks fabu in her red dress. I like her as she seems very real and not affected.

This cover gives me mixed emotions. Firstly I applaud that a woman in her 40s is regarded with high esteem. But I am tiring of the kiss arse coverage of the First Family. I feel they are a positive and happy people but we get it. Now for some objectivity in journalism – yes?.

This is the best cover of MObama so far. She looks so nice and young. As for the mentoring, I always use that kind of thought when dating but some parents still encourage their kids to have some personalities or thoughts toward bad ideas of dating.
