Some of you might be already familiar with J-Lo’s new single: Louboutins. And not such much because of the extraordinary musical attributes of the new Lopez release but because she fell on the AMA stage performing it.
I did not joined the ranks of those who wrote about that misstep (it can really happen to anyone!), however I can write about the new single cover for Jennifer Lopez Louboutins track. What we, the fashion-wise people, we’re used to call fashion or high design, others, more anchored in the current reality (or not), they’re calling odd, strange, outrageous. Unusual.
And that’s perfectly fine with us! Not everyone should wear an uniform. But when it comes to bags, I’m really sensitive (as I am about shoes and scarves and.. oh, too many things, actually!) so I’m bringing this to you too. Would you wear these bags? I loved Moloko. I did! It was a musical ray of light, only in high-tech, light and happy. And I was somewhat saddened to find out they were calling it quits few years ago. Then again it was a happy moment because Roisin Murphy went on her solo path.

I somehow have this silly belief stuck deep in my head that fashion, no matter the age and the idea, should be about comfort. Should revolve around physical and emotional comfort. Shouldn’t it?
I also have two more stubborn convictions like the one above: that fashion is an art. As architecture. Combine the two and you should have some of the most mind blowing artsy fashionable moments. Light your way through the crowd is definitely a fashion! Here’s another example to convince you to light up not just the Christmas tree but also your wardrobe content!
Dutch designer Stijn Ossevoort created this beautiful dress with electronic wind sensitive dandelions. There’s no telling if the light goes on even at a light breeze or you’ll have to wait a tornado bursting in to get them all to function, however, the dandelions look pretty and the dress is charming!
