JLo’s Louboutins, The Christian Louboutin Paola 100 Ankle Boots

Some of you might be already familiar with J-Lo’s new single: Louboutins. And not such much because of the extraordinary musical attributes of the new Lopez release but because she fell on the AMA stage performing it.

I did not joined the ranks of those who wrote about that misstep (it can really happen to anyone!), however I can write about the new single cover for Jennifer Lopez Louboutins track. Have you seen it? It features the new lacey Christian Louboutin Paola 100 ankle boots! (the story continues right after the jump with more images! you can see the AMAs performance here)

Dare To Wear These Unusual Bags?

What we, the fashion-wise people, we’re used to call fashion or high design, others, more anchored in the current reality (or not), they’re calling odd, strange, outrageous. Unusual.

And that’s perfectly fine with us! Not everyone should wear an uniform. But when it comes to bags, I’m really sensitive (as I am about shoes and scarves and.. oh, too many things, actually!) so I’m bringing this to you too. Would you wear these bags? Which one do you find outrageous and which one amazingly chic? (photos via)

Roisin Murphy For Crash Magazine Fall Winter 2009

I loved Moloko. I did! It was a musical ray of light, only in high-tech, light and happy. And I was somewhat saddened to find out they were calling it quits few years ago. Then again it was a happy moment because Roisin Murphy went on her solo path.

There’s something about the Irish. Something turning their blood into something highly artistic. Just look at Roisin (click through to see the gallery) – she as natural as a model as she is a singer/performer. (the story continues right after the jump!)

Astrud Gilberto The Girl From Ipanema

I promise this is not because of her hair bow! Even if I like that bow and I’m so predictable and easy to please!

I’m thankful for this wonderful week I’ve spent with you; I’m thankful for your every word, your every comment you share; I’m thankful for my life, my healthy kids and husband; I’m thankful for my family and for you! I hope you’re having an amazing weekend! Enjoy Astrud Gilberto The Girl From Ipanema! (more info right after the jump!)

Dare To Wear Joshua DeMonte’s Architectural Jewelry?

I somehow have this silly belief stuck deep in my head that fashion, no matter the age and the idea, should be about comfort. Should revolve around physical and emotional comfort. Shouldn’t it?

I also have two more stubborn convictions like the one above: that fashion is an art. As architecture. Combine the two and you should have some of the most mind blowing artsy fashionable moments. Joshua DeMonte is a creative DJ. He mixes Architecture and Fashion aiming at wearability. Does he do so with success? You tell me! (click through to see a gallery with Joshua DeMonte’s creations!)

Lisa Rinna Without Makeup

Lisa Rinna Without MakeupThat’s not supposed to be shocking in any way. Because even if she frees her face from the makeup pancake, Lisa Rinna will always have her surgical enhancements to do the talking. Lisa Rinna is a plastic surgery mutant. Against her will: “I look like a freak! I always said I wouldn’t change my face, but I did it.” Now what? (US Magazine)

Vanessa Paradis Elle November 2009 Vs Marie Claire December 2009

It was only few days ago when we talked about that wonderful happy looking family called Depp – Paradis (they should call it that if they aren’t already! DepParadis!). Here’s Vanessa Paradis on the cover of the French Elle, the November 2009 issue, showing her always gorgeous self as opposed to Marie Claire‘s December 2009 issue, also with Vanessa Paradis!

She looks like the time hasn’t touched her, like she was like this since forever, wouldn’t you say? Vanessa is ageless! (click through to read the story and discover the pictures here)

Let The Wind Light Up Your Dress!

Light your way through the crowd is definitely a fashion! Here’s another example to convince you to light up not just the Christmas tree but also your wardrobe content!

Dutch designer Stijn Ossevoort created this beautiful dress with electronic wind sensitive dandelions. There’s no telling if the light goes on even at a light breeze or you’ll have to wait a tornado bursting in to get them all to function, however, the dandelions look pretty and the dress is charming! (isn’t it?) (via)
