Giorgio Armani’s Acqua Di Gioia Campaign

Because it’s a known fact that beauties live in Amazonian forests and only wash themselves when it rains, Giorgio Armani expressed his admiration for this universal truth in a wonderful new ad campaign for his Acqua Di Gioia perfume.

As opposed to that known study where his Acqua di Gio for men was a leading as one of the world’s loaded with dangerous chemicals perfume, Acqua di Gioia, the perfume for women is yet to be analyzed. Until then, let’s all dream about Amazonian forests, hidden beauties in its dark deep bushes, blue trees and the joy of taking a bath in the rain and then in the ocean! If you want to wake up, there’s the behind-the-scenes reality video right after the jump! (maybe if they had used Megan Fox for this campaign too and not Emily DiDonato, a true Megan clone, it would’ve been more effective?) (via)

Rosie Huntington Whiteley Covers Love Four

This is the first from a series of seven covers. Yes. Seven covers will be released for Love Magazine’s fourth issue.

Pin-up-ish and drop-jaw gorgeous, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley pulls one rare classy photo. I can imagine the world’s truck drivers ripping themselves for a copy of Love Magazine with Rosie Huntington Whiteley on the cover. I’m loving it! And now with the new Transformers on the way, it’s a sure thing – Rosie will become a truck drivers precious commodity! How about you then – where do you see this going after being torn from the very magazine body it covers? (Love via)

Kate Moss For Balmain Fall 2010 Ad Campaign

We all know how Kate Moss is busy, busy, busy. She still has time to honor her fashion engagements (besides her commercial ones). The first image from her fall winter 2010 2011 ad campaign for Balmain is now available.

Though I would’ve easily sworn it was Terry Richardson’s deed or, better – Juergen Teller, the campaign was shot by Inez and Vinoodh. (I sometimes sit and stare for minutes at a picture – especially from ad campaigns – wondering what the message would be. Since it only looks lazy to me, I can only hope it appeals differently to you – what do you see in this image?) (fd via fc)

Kyle Bean’s Selfridges Windows

I’m generally one who likes to keep a positive attitude and memory about everything and anything. Thus, the Selfridges window which honored in no moral way the big talent that was Alexander McQueen could have ruined the way I looked at Selfridges windows from that day on.

We can’t allow that, can we? We’re fashion loving people, we love beauty and everything stylishly organized. So let’s take another look at the fashionable windows from Selfridges signed by British designer Kyle Bean. (more images right after the jump! Click here for the gallery!)

Liv Tyler And Magnus Carlsen For G-Star Raw’s Fall 2010 Ad Campaign

Lovely Liv Tyler is de retour. In an ad campaign. For G – Star Raw jeans label. Looking rough and raw herself, the fall winter 2010 2011 ad campaign is strong with Liv. In Black and White. And Ferocious.

Riding the ad wave with her is Magnus Carlsen (a Norwegian chess Grandmaster, 19yo who became no 1 at only 13. He’s currently ranked no 1 still), both photographed by Anton Corbijn. The beauty and the prodigy make good campaign. Visually. I’m still having troubles seeing them actually sell jeans. I’m thinking Einstein and young Elizabeth Taylor selling umm… hats? Is that possible, commercial-wise? – however, I have to admit it’s great to have brilliant people featured in fashion ad campaigns. Would have loved seeing Einstein for um… say Yves Saint Laurent?

Natalie Portman For Dior By Sofia Coppola

From what you told me, Lanvin’s Marry Me brought Miss Dior Cherie to your thoughts. (I personally don’t see the resemblance – I see differences. A world of. But I guess you’ll tell me why Miss Dior Cherie looks and feels like Lanvin’s Marry Me?). Here’s something Dior – related:

As you know, I loved Sofia Coppola’s ad for Miss Dior Cherie. (you can watch it again here) Following in the steps of Marina Linchuk is now Natalie Portman. Yes, with precious guidance from Sofia Coppola again. I cross my fingers for yet another breathtakingly beautiful ad. We only have these two images from the set and they don’t help much in figuring out the story. Do they? (via)

Gisele Bundchen For Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary Ad Campaign

Gisele Bundchen is my current (Vogue approved) legendary mother. My contemporary mother extraordinaire. My reference in all things style, living and more.

Just kidding. Ever since her Vogue promoted magic post-baby body, it was pretty clear she was coming back strong, bonus a mythical aura of absolute goddess. No human body has been seen getting back in shape so quickly after giving birth. At least no ordinary human body. Applauding in an endless wave of standing ovations I’m not looking at Gisele Bundchen’s mighty legendary (unchanged) body from the Roberto Cavalli 40th anniversary ad campaign pictures. (Click through to convince yourselves that Gisele’s hotter than ever! click here for the gallery!)
