A stunning lady, she is! Cate Blanchett pulls off a fierce dress on the 2011 Oscars Red Carpet tonight! And she’s looking nothing short of her usual stunningly gorgeous self wearing a soft pink Givenchy Couture Spring 2011 dress.
It was a breathtaking collection, so I’m not surprised to see Cate wearing an item from Riccardo Tisci’s Spring 2011 couture show. If anyone could have pulled it off, it was Cate! I really missed her walking down the Red Carpet, proudly wearing to perfection dresses not many people could fit into (and no, this is not a reference to her slender frame, but to her majestically way of wearing gowns like nobody’s business). Talking about moms to be got me right to Penelope Cruz. And no, she’s not expecting again! Au contraire, she just had her baby and she’s looking marvelous!
Penelope Cruz chose a red L’Wren Scott dress for the 2011 Oscars Red Carpet. Part of the Spring Summer 2011 collection, the dress added even more sparkle to Penelope’s happy glow! She was holding hands with her husband and father of her child, Javier Bardem. And what a gorgeous couple they make! They look so happy together, don’t they? Starting off with Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman comes as the logical next step on our 2011 Oscars Red Carpet walk tonight.
Natalie was wearing (what else) a custom purple Rodarte dress and her unearthly glow. She was holding hands with her fiance, Benjamin Millepied, and looking nothing short of fabulous. I love her side swept wavy do, I love her purple sandals, she’s so beautiful, and I’m not saying that just because she’s pregnant, look at her! Hello my lovelies! Finally the Oscars, huh? We were waiting for this, I can’t believe it’s finally here! I’ll start with a favorite of mine, Mila Kunis, who walked the 2011 Oscars Red Carpet tonight in a lavender Elie Saab lavender dress.
Looking radiant and flawless, Mila chose the gorgeous gown from the Elie Saab Spring 2011 haute couture collection and she paired it with a Bottega Veneta clutch. Though it really surprised me, going for such a delicate dress, after her last Red Carpet stint where she was wearing Alexander McQueen, this ethereal gown suits her wonderfully, wouldn’t you agree? For what I’ve seen so far, these are only rumors. But speculations need a grain of truth, so I’m thinking there must be some seed of authenticity in all this!
People of the fashion world go crazy to answer who’ll design Kate Moss wedding dress! Because you see, rumor has it that miss Moss with turn into Madam Hince on July 2nd this year! Now the latest on the front of wedding dress designers is John Galliano who is one of Kate’s besties. This should be interesting… Is it July yet? (via)

With Spring just around the corner (I wish!), the season of gardens parties is a blink away! I found this amazingly inspiring pictorial from a birthday party with the most unusual theme: Alice in Wonderland! It’s definitely on my list for upcoming themed parties!
