As you all know, I’m a sucker for summer dresses. Which can very well be one of the main reasons I love summer in the first place. Either way, with the inevitable autumn approaching to put a stop on all things frilly and flowery and summery, I have to reinvent and refocus my love for dresses.

Which is why I cherish the new H & M campaign By Night! Check out the gorgeous Victoria’s Secret Angel Erin Heatherton wearing some pretty frilly gowns all ready for glamorous night out partying! David Roemer photographed the blonde sensation against a very urban landscape, by Night, biensur. Every weekend or so, we have a wee one joining the (celebrity) world! Proud parents and loving fans alike feel happy and ecstatic about the new bundle of joy. Who’s turn was it this weekend?

Jessica Alba gave birth to a healthy baby girl this Saturday, August 13th. Both the proud mama and the proud papa, Cash Warren, made sure the news spread through the social networking services that Haven Garner (who weighted 7lbs at birth) is healthy and doing great. Congrats to the happy family!

And here’s the long awaited September 2011 Vogue Paris issue. And who do we have on the cover? Is it a plane? Noooooo! Is it an actress? Noooooo! Is it a model? Noooooo! It’s Royalty!

Vogue Paris is aligning the fashion issue September 2011 cover to the Royal sympathy wave going strong worldwide with Charlotte Casiraghi as photographed by Mario Testino. Why is it that Calvin Klein can’t stay away from controversy? Does it really pay off that well? Calvin Klein’s latest perfume for women, Forbidden Euphoria has came forth with an interesting, to say the least, ad campaign.

Barbara Palvin, who’s the spokesmodel for this new fragrance campaign by Calvin Klein is looking alarmingly similar to Brooke Shields and causing just as much stir as she did when she issued the iconic CK Jeans ads. Aside the obvious lack of subtlety we can all admire in this ad picture, please note that the fragrance addresses to the independent woman and should seduce from the very first stroke. Impatiently waiting for September?

Talking about Zoe Saldana the other day I completely forgot to mention one teeny tiny detail I found out about the gorgeous miss Saldana: did you know she founded an imdb of fashion: MyFDB? Yep, she did!

Though I was a member and received newsletters from MyFDB, I had absolutely no idea that who was behind this new and amazing project was none the other but Zoe Saldana! (and her boyfriend, Keith Britton). Talk about surprises, huh? Now everyone’s fasheyes will be on you, Zoe! Let this striped dress event be a beginner’s mistake, mkay?

How have you been these days my lovelies? I thought I’d bring you something holiday-ish for this week’s break. Ornella Vanoni’s L’appuntamento is a magnificent piece of music. You should give it a try!

Have you ever been to Italy? Does this remind you even the least of Italy? This was the first time ever I truly liked an Italian song – it was brought to my attention by the lovely people who put together Ocean’s Twelve’s soundtrack and I can’t think of anything else other than that movie each time I listen to it. I hope your weekend is nothing short of amazing and, if you’re vacationing right now, have the time of your life!

Impatiently waiting for the next season of Modern Family, I find myself staring at Redbook’s September 2011 cover with Sofia Vergara.

Not only do I stare and smile, but I also think she’s one of the most beautiful women out there right now. Sofia Vergara looks laidback, joyful and amazing, comme d’habitude on the cover of Redbook (fragments from her interview are featured on the site too, I loved the part where she sais her son teases her about her accent: He doesn’t understand how my accent can get worse and worse. He says, ‘It’s not normal. Nobody does that.’ So when I got nominated for the Emmy [in 2010] I called him and said, ‘Right in your face! Even with my accent!’)
