Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen Vogue Espana September 2011
August 17th, 2011 by kpriss
Oh! This could have been so beautiful on so many levels! So, so beautiful! Instead we’re having three supermodels, amazingly gorgeous women with a terribly expressionless face, trying to pose seductively for Vogue Espana September 2011.
Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen photographed by Tom Munro wearing starry Dolce & Gabbana outfits can also be seen individually for the Spanish edition of Vogue September 2011. Maybe the cover below, with all three of them is the newsstand cover while individual covers with Claudia, Eva or Helena are the covers reserved for the subscribers? Either way, you can see more images, with Claudia, after the jump and a video with scenes from the London photoshooting right after the jump! (Vogue via)
Chanel Floral Headpieces. Claudia Schiffer Chanel Eyewear Campaign
August 16th, 2011 by kpriss
When I last talked about Sasha Pivovarova’s Maison Michel ad campaign, I instantly remembered Chanel’s Eyewear Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign as fronted by Claudia Schiffer and photographed by the same Karl Lagerfeld.
However, I first hesitated in writing about it because I didn’t felt the campaign. What I liked the most about the ads wasn’t Claudia’s rigorous beauty ( I always get the impression that she’s a sculpture, that’s how perfect her features are) and the new shape of the iconic Chanel eyewear. Oh, no, what intrigued me the most were the headpieces.

Rankin’s Swatch Collection
August 16th, 2011 by kpriss
If you’re a little bit familiar with the world of fashion, then you surely heard of Rankin once or twice. He’s a British Fashion Photographer, really good at what he does, with a clean vision and a straightforward approach of the image through his objectives.
His work earned him a special place in the fashphotographers arena, being also appreciated for his visual documentaries. After the jump, you’ll see that Rankin’s vision brought him a design representation as well, showcased here by his Limited Edition Swatch Watches Collection.
Daniel Radcliffe Outside His Harry Potter Skin
August 16th, 2011 by kpriss
With Harry Potter’s last episode premiering worldwide just a couple of weeks ago, it’s normal that the HP actors got the most press attention. And if I’m notorious for my Hermione …ahem Emma Watson coverage, then maybe it’s time we switch a bit and let the boys take the spotlight!
Daniel Radcliffe. Also known to the world as the boy who survived… ahem the boy who played Harry Potter. Let’s see a different angle of Daniel and see that can be very much not HP. These are the images styled by the GQ people as photographed by James Dimmock. Do you think Daniel Radcliffe will ever get out of Harry’s skin? How about this rebel air? Does it suit him?

Twilight’s Bella Swan Wedding Dress By Carolina Herrera. And Alfred Angelo
August 15th, 2011 by kpriss
It’s official: Bella Swan, the main feminine character from Twilight who will marry (spoiler, I know, although you had to be living under a rock to not have heard that she is to become Edward’s wife) in a bride dress designed by Carolina Herrera.
Speculations have long and hard circulated on how the dress looks like and I remember Kristen herself saying (in that W interview) that the wedding was a great deal and the bride dress fittings took a long time. It sounds promising. Bella is a role model for so many teen and tweens that I do not doubt for a second her wedding gown will be a trendsetter. Few can actually afford another Carolina Herrera bride dress, so it’s useful to know that a more affordable knockoff is going to be released by Alfred Angelo. Isn’t this the best news ever? Like ummm totally!? (photos via 1, 2; photochopping courtesy Stylefrizz)
Vera Wang’s Home
August 15th, 2011 by kpriss
What would you say about a little dose of interior decoration? Let’s start the week in big (home) style with Vera Wang’s impressive residence.
It’s a mid-century home, originally bought for $5 million and completely renovated for an additional $3 million. The Beverly Hills house which now has glass walls and a home theater has four bedrooms, a pool, a spa and was acquisitioned by Vera Wang for an appx $10 million. I was expecting something more girly from the queen of bridal wear. Didn’t you? (check out more images after the jump, click here for the gallery!)
Agyness Deyn’s Dr Martens First And Forever Ad Campaign
August 15th, 2011 by kpriss
Eh oui, my lovelies, Agyness Deyn is still around, still modeling! Her Dr Martens campaign for the Fall Winter 2011 2012 season is called First and Forever and should evoke the lasting power of Dr Martens.
The photos were taken by Gavin Watson and also involve male model Ash Stymest. Vintage androgyny at its finest, however, hardly appealing to me. Would you say that this James Dean-ish campaign makes you buy a Dr Martens? (I’m surely not a fan of Marylin – like styling and I think the same should apply to glorifying James Dean with every new season)
Red Soles. To Be Or Not To Be A Louboutin Exclusive
August 15th, 2011 by kpriss
You may have heard that a while back, Christian Louboutin has started a war against Yves Saint Laurent on the premises of exclusive-ing the red soles shoes. While Louboutin claims that YLS’ recent red soles shoes are a law infringement situation (with Louboutin having trademarked his red soles shoes), the Yves Saint Laurent people say different.
Effectively, a federal judge from New York wisely ruled against the Louboutin raised lawsuit saying that a color cannot be monopolized by a single designer. And allowing Louboutin to trademark red would be truly unfair for fashion and for the consumer. However, the Louboutin people will carry on the fight, appealing the judge’s decision. Time will tell…
