Although we all suspected it, this time we have official confirmation: Gwyneth Paltrow’s too beautiful for words dress she gracefully worn at the Oscars this year? Yes, the white Tom Ford cape dress? Although we were fairly warned that there will be no Pepper Potts in The Avengers, the Oscars ceremony tipped us right when they put Gwyneth and Robert Downey Jr on the same stage! Pepper did join The Avengers (you’ll also notice her in the full cast list)!

Wait! It gets better: Gwyneth Paltrow’s white Tom Ford Oscars dress was a tongue – in – check reference to her Iron Man liaison. Pepper Potts isn’t all that actively involved in this year’s Avengers movie, but she appears in two key moments of the plot (at the beginning of the movie and close to the end, at the very peak of the action plot, check out the screen caps gallery here). If we see her wearing jeans cutoff shorts and a white shirt at first, Pepper Potts is also wearing Tom Ford in the Avengers!

Although winning one battle won’t win them the entire war, Burberry made a step against counterfeiters by winning a lawsuit against a Chinese network who was using the Burberry name to sell fake luxury goods.

The Manhattan Federal court ruling the $100 million award in favor of the renowned British label had an easy case on its hands as the defendants reportedly failed to show up or answer in any form. It’s rainin’ lawsuits! {Vogue}

Now if you want to still look feminine while riding a bike around town, you could try wearing a skirt. A beauty sticker, Chanel’s logo beauty spot was first seen in Chanel’s strange Resort 2013 collection and it will reportedly hit stores later this year, part of an entire beauty collection (along with Mouche de Beauté highlight and pink eye shadow). Although I shamelessly admit I was expecting Hunter to ink down a deal with none the other than Christian Louboutin, the news reports indicate towards Gilles Mendel. J. Mendel’s designer collaborated with Hunter on a special collection for this very fall.

After Jimmy Choo Hunter boots, the J. Mendel Hunter rubber boots in both short and long versions will retail around $585 and $795 respectively through stores like Nordstrom and hunter – boot dot com. Wearing Hunter rubber boots has been glamorized by the likes of Kate Moss (who puts them on to party at the summer festivals) or Angelina Jolie (who wore red Hunters in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Paired with just a white men shirt). If you can afford such rubber boots, you surely have no business in the mud, so what would you buy them for?
