Talking about movies and gossip brought something in my mind, music – wise, that might be the perfect thing for this week’s break: Elton John’s I Want Love (2001). The music video is simple, artsy even: Robert Downey Jr. lip – synching to the song while walking around in this huuuuuge, empty mansion.

It’s actually pretty hard to imagine that this is the great and almighty Tony Stark, you know? But I do love the simplicity of the scenery, his casual (label – free) look and the overall message of the song & video directed by Sam Taylor – Wood (shot in the Greystone Mansion, Beverly Hills, CA)

Let’s get away from fashion news. Somewhat… Are you with me? Let’s enrich the weekend’s menu (you know, I was trying to take it in the family & such zone) with some gossip. Stylish gossip, biensur!

Kate Beckinsale is doing the inauguration honors for that gossip thingie with her amazing sneak –y Armani Prive dress (Spring 2012 Couture) from the Total Recall premiere. As I can’t wait to see the movie that premiered on August 1st in Hollywood, let’s judge Kate Beckinsale’s fashion move on the premiere’s Red Carpet. You may remember that Bar Refaeli has her own lingerie label called under.me. While not much has been said about her basics underwear / body wear, Bar must have decided to take care of promoting the material the best way she knows how.

And this new marketing stint from Bar Refaeli’s under.me is pretty bold, hinting at the Olympics swimming competition. Under water or above, Bar can go for gold anytime with that body! I’m not sure about the thong Olympics, though. The Swimmers may not all approve of that…

Now that her Carrie Bradshaw place has been taken by a much younger actress, Sarah Jessica Parker is moving up to Vogue editor. For Glee. And for the occasion, SJP gets coached by none the other but the real – life editor of Vogue US, Anna Wintour! And that the mighty Wintour is picking out the outfits for SJP! We all know that Stella McCartney favors Natalia Vodianova for her ad campaigns. So seeing the Russian beauty (and mother of three) jumping and making faces for Stella’s Fall 2012 Ad Campaign isn’t that much of a surprise.

Unless… we think that Natalia usually pulls a seductress game in her ads and this is more like a 15yo dress up game. And we also take into consideration that models love their yoga practice and the latest craze in yoga routines involves disco music and boxing. What? Yoga & high heels up the difficulty level of your workout session – you may spend even more calories (although not as much as you would spend your salaries on buying McCartney’s designs!).

Since yesterday we talked about Miley Cyrus taking the cover of Marie Claire’s September 2012 issue, it’s only fair that we echo her fiance’s magazine feature as well. Liam Hemsworth does Men’s Health September 2012. And no, not in the light of his upcoming wedding with Miley but in the wake of his participation in the mega action flick the Expendables 2. Not that we wouldn’t know how to appreciate beautiful models playing chess outside the Olympic season… But I would’ve been highly tempted to evaluate this Prada game as a fancy attempt to fashion up the Wizards’ Chess from Harry Potter. What? Replace Emma Watson with Anne Vyalitsyna and we’re on! (oh, and bleach everyone’s eyebrows while we’re at it!)
