Mariacarla Boscono’s Baby Girl: Givenchy Spring 2013 Ad Campaign Model
December 18th, 2012 by kpriss
I’m really under the spell! Givenchy Spring Summer 2013 Ad Campaign sounds like a glorious one! Not only does Mariacarla Boscono bring her baby girl – Marialucas, for the occasion, but Riccardo Tisci decided to trust his friends with this marketing session.
Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot photographed friends & artists Maria Abramovic, Jared Buckhiester, faithful friends & models Mariacarla & her baby girl, Kate Moss, Francisco Peralta and friend & torero Jose Maria Manzanares as styled by the one and only Carine Roitfeld.(there’s more after the jump!)
Lil’ Beckham Does Burberry Ad Campaign
December 18th, 2012 by kpriss
Continuing the series of men ads, let’s check out the latest in the Junior Fashion League! Little Romeo Beckham, at the crisp age of 10 is joining a long list of enviable Burberry spokespersons. (can I call Romeo a ‘person’? He’s just a child in my eyes. Witty and funny – so it seems, with a famous pedigree, but a child nevertheless)
Mario Testino shot the Burberry Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign (directed by Christopher Bailey himself) with lil’ Beckham here but I keep replaying it without making too much sense. At least fashion wise. Sure, he seems joyful and playful, but what’s he doing there next to those two models who look like statues, is beyond me. Should they symbolize his parents? After all, Victoria Beckham is so serious and pouty all the time!(more images in the gallery, here)
Del Toro, Keitel Do Prada Men Spring 2013 Campaign
December 18th, 2012 by kpriss
Miuccia Prada seems to have had great results with her Fall Winter 2012 Men Ad Campaign as she’s following the celeb course for Prada’s Spring Summer 2013 Men Ad Campaign. True, she refreshed her cast, but the idea remains the same: fame sells. Actors sell. And that’s not just Anna Wintour who’s saying it, or a Hollywood – oriented American stylist / editor. It’s a true Italian, and a mighty artsy one as well.
But did you know that underneath her fashion proven curriculum, Miuccia also has PhD in Political Science? Her austere but brilliant marketing maneuvers may just be the next big thing as consistent style and gifted substance may shine through these hard economical times with no other polish needed! F1 Sunglasses: Tag Heuer Ayrton Senna Sunglasses
December 18th, 2012 by kpriss
Undoubtedly one of the most gifted pilots that the Formula 1 tracks have seen, the Brazilian Ayrton Senna was honored by TAG Heuer with a pair of sunglasses wearing his name.
Normally, I would’ve labeled this with a fame related description, but TAG Heuer declared that the profits from the sales of these legendary shades will go to the Ayrton Senna Institut (a non profit organization founded in 1994 working to help develop children’s potential through school learning).
I wish more brands would promote charitable initiatives like that! (while I don’t have pricing information, I do know that this limited edition Tag Heuer Ayrton Senna collection is available starting January 2013 – maybe we’ll hear more about it when the time comes.)

Glow In The Dark Is The New Cheap Monday Fashion!
December 18th, 2012 by kpriss
I remember being over the moon, as a child, whenever I came across something that would glow in the dark. Now? It still holds some magic over me, but not with the same childish intensity. I’m convinced, thought, that others out there keep the glow in the dark enthusiasm alive and well.
And Cheap Monday’s Glow in the Dark collection may just be what they need. Yes, clothing. And shoes. Glowing in the dark! Awesome, right? Whereas I think that such items may prove useful while bicycling in the dark hours or for kids hiding in tantrums, I bet others can’t contain their partying happy glow! (hit the jump to see the video teaser!)
John Lennon Happy Xmas (War Is Over)
December 17th, 2012 by kpriss
Dear friends, you know me too well by now. You know that sooner or later, I’ll address the topic du jour, whether it’s politics, gossip or the latest shoes on the market. And today, as much as I wanted too, I just can’t go around it. It’s been three days and I keep cry whenever there’s a news snippet talking about the Newtown tragedy.
I even wish I could have the strength to embed the original video of this amazing song (one of my favorite Christmas songs ever), but I really couldn’t find that inner force. I cried my eyes out, my heart and my head started aching instantly (if you do feel up to it, the original video is here). I still can’t cope with what happened and I know that whatever I’d say, my words don’t have that much power, but prayers do.
Prayers can achieve miracles. If we want to. To the families and friends from Newtown: the entire country, the entire world weeps and prays with you!

Gwen Stefani’s Legs Cover Vogue US January 2013
December 17th, 2012 by kpriss
I realize it has a fantastic cheesy potential, but the title is only describing half the cover truth of Vogue US January 2013 issue focused on Gwen Stefani!
To make it a round, full truth of the cover situation, I should’ve also mentioned the disturbingly flat head due to the big black hat. I have to admit that it’s a pretty original cover, even by Vogue US & Annie Leibovitz celebrity standards. But the pose? It’s so wrong! And the head sequence is cauchemardesque! I sometimes wonder if Anna Wintour doesn’t deliberately approve of issues like this one, to set everyone’s tongues wagging!
Think about it for a second: if they chose the picture you’ll see after the jump as cover, the fashion people would’ve labeled it ‘cliché’ or ‘boring’. Not even Gwen’s six pack wouldn’t have made it safely through the rotten tomatoes rain! (let’s hit the jump to discuss more and see two images from the pictorial! or just click here for the gallery!)
Here’s Jessica Simpson’s New Baby Bump!
December 17th, 2012 by kpriss
Talking about baby bumps… Here’s Jessica Simpson’s new baby bump. Finally! Attending the wedding of her former assistant, CaCee Cobb, Jessica was one of the bridesmaids and she looked fairly pretty!
The elegant black dress was all draped on her new baby bump and her fiancé Eric Johnsons. Front slit seem to be the next big thing as Kate Middleton was also wearing a deep front slit on her emerald green McQueen maxi dress. How far along do you think Jessica is based on the Infphoto images published by US Magazine? Certainly headed for another one of her twenty months pregnancies (wink) but surely not shy about wearing high heels!
