Chanel had me all marveled yesterday when I saw the Cruise 2013 collection concocted by der Kaiser. I was hoping for a breathe of fresh fashion air with Bottega Veneta Resort 2013. Instead, I went all “whaaa?” over the haute fashion tracksuits designed by Tomas Maier! Or tuxedo over swimsuit! (there were some pretty designs in Bottega Veneta’s collection too, only they paled in comparison with the main sport – ish coordinate. Paris Hilton will buy it all, I’m certain!) {Style}

If you had told me it was a mediocre high street brand I would have believe you as well. I have nothing against tracksuits. As homewear that is. Or to the gym. OK, on holidays where no one sees you. :)These ‘designs’ looks so cheap and easy work.
It was not until like 5 years ago I’d notice this Resort or Cruise collections at all! Have they always been around or is it just the internet which brought those collections to my attention?
Riana: I remember my mom telling me in late 70ies(!) that resort ( she called it “middle season” then) was the most important because it is what we wear most.
I hate the colour pallete here. and tracksuits are a no go.
Your mom is right. I say the same thing because we do actually. Certainly in the climate where I live. And with the climate change it seems like we always live in a middle season. That means not too cold and often rain here, Nor winter nor summer… :)
I always were a tracksuit at home in one colour. Really this looks like a cheap old fashioned catalogue.
