Drive Bomber Jacket, The Must Have Jacket: Rosamund Pike’s Colorful Bomber Jacket

Although scandalously violent and surprisingly romantic, Drive is a movie of many influences. You may want to check the boutiques for a colorful bomber jacket, they seem to be making a fashion comeback!

I hope you took my word for it and if you haven’t already, then consider watching Drive in the nearest future (I recently found a piece of news saying that someone filed a lawsuit against the movie for being too violent and discriminatory? Come oooon?!). If I’ll come across more bomber jackets, I’ll report back. Until then, here’s the lovely Rosamund Pike walking around town in a casual, sport-ish ensemble. Would you wear a jacket like that? (I kinda have one, only it’s in khaki, with no prints on. Just silk-ish olive green, so I might consider taking it out for a stroll? Get my DIY act together and maybe glue something, a scorpion – wink – on the back?)

Really? You own a silk-ish olive green bomber jacket? LOL, so do I!! I bought it in the early ’90’s for only FL.5,00!! That was just before second-hand became vintage and no Euro inside yet. Haven’t wore it since ages.

This is way too loud for me. I don’t like the sporty leggings either. (Or what’s the name?)

I think I could add something to that jacket, though.. A flower maybe? And wear it with some high glam skirt like that gorgeous Armani skirt we talked about earlier? stole my heart. Totally!

I have thought about that too a several times. But since the fabric is fragile for threads when you like to remove it again it still shows were the stitches were….:(

tssss! see who’s couture smart? I clearly haven’t thought about removing and showing the scar tissues afterwards! And it’s definitely something to take into consideration, especially with trends falling out so quickly! Like you, I own that jacket for years, and not that I’m particularly fond of it, but I’d like to still be able to wear it until it hits the “vintage” stage lol.

Me too! And because it did cost only FL.5 and I even know exactly where I bought it. It’s too precious and still in good shape. Yes, we keep it in the original state until it hits really the “vintage” stage hahahah…:D
As my early warm H&M bomberjacket that did cost only FL.50; I am going to wear that soon again too :D
